Shear pin supported cleaner finger design
A shear pin supported cleaner finger assembly includes a frame member, a support member attached to the frame member, the support member defining a pivot point and a reactive point. A cleaner finger is pivotally attached to the support member at the pivot point, and a shear pin is positioned at the reactive point.
SYSTEM FOR SYNTHETIC TURF FIELDS FOR LANDFILLS
The disclosure concerns a device configured for trapping methane gas, the device comprising a synthetic turf and a polyurea or polyurethane coating disposed at a surface of the synthetic turf. The device reduces passage of methane gas therethrough.
STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL RESTORATION OF SLOPE SOIL IN ABANDONED ION-ABSORBED RARE EARTH MINING AREA
A structure and method for three-dimensional restoration of slope soil in an abandoned ion-absorbed rare earth mining area, belonging to the field of ecological restoration technologies. The structure for three-dimensional restoration of slope soil in an abandoned ion-absorbed rare earth mining area provided by the present invention includes an ecological water-harvesting pond, ecological intercepting ditches, an improved soil layer laid on the surface of a to-be-restored slope region and a soil restoration ecological network disposed on the improved soil layer. The improved soil layer, the ecological water-harvesting pond and the ecological intercepting ditches are each provided with a combined plant synusia system. The restoration structure provided by the present invention can effectively improve an extremely degraded ecological environment of the abandoned ion-absorbed rare earth mining area caused by tailings waste land and restore the degraded or polluted mining area soil and environment caused by mine destruction during rare earth mining.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR STORING AND PROCESSING SOLID HOUSEHOLD WASTE
The necessary dimensions are determined for a tank which comprises a pit for the storage and processing of solid household waste of organic origin while taking into account soil characteristics. The bottom of the pit and the side walls thereof are made of poured concrete, the concrete layer undergoes hydrolysis, and the bottom of the tank is made with a slope, wherein at the low point of the bottom of the tank, a water intake for collecting filtrate and water is installed, which is connected by a pump to a water purification filter. Along the perimeter of the tank, a pipe system for discharging biogas is installed which is connected to a biogas purification device. A portion of the solid household waste is loaded into the tank, covered with a water-impermeable material and covered over by a layer of soil.
WEDGE-WELDABLE MANUFACTURED COMPOSITE HAVING SYNTHETIC VEGETATION AND IMPERMEABLE GEOMEMBRANE
A manufactured composite comprising synthetic turf and impermeable geomembrane is used in a single-layer capping system as the single layer to provide permanent, impermeable and functional aesthetic cover for a job site. During installation of composite pieces at a job site, an edge portion of a tufted section of a second composite piece is overlaid onto an edge untufted section of the first composite piece already laid and anchored over foundation soil to form a reinforced overlapping seam, through which the two composite pieces are physically and permanently joined together. As composite pieces are joined together, the continuity of synthetic grass and the continuity of impermeability are extended and realized over the entire site to form permanent, impermeable and functional aesthetic cover for a job site.
SPREADER FOR SEDIMENT CAPPING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A sediment capping system is adapted to create, and distribute, a homogenized mixture of capping material. Where distributing the capping material, the system is configured to militate against the capping material forming clumps of a size and weight that would disturb the sediment on a bottom of a body of water. This in turn militates against the sediment being disturbed, and a disturbing of pollutants and toxins into the water surrounding the sediment. The sediment capping system militates against the clumping of capping material through a vibrating spreader and baffle system, producing a sediment cap with a more consistent depth that will minimally disturb the sediment on the floor of the body of water where the sediment cap is being deposited.
Low-profile fluid conduit/collector and system
A low-profile fluid collection conduit includes an elongate outer cover having an upper portion and a lower portion generally opposite the upper portion, with the outer cover being much wider than it is tall and defining an interior volume. An elongate rigid spacer is fitted within the interior volume of the elongate outer cover, with the elongate spacer allowing the majority of the interior volume to be unfilled so as to permit the flow of fluid along and within the elongate outer cover. The collection conduit is used with a fluid-impermeable membrane as part of a landfill fluid collection and conveyance system.

TREATMENT OF POLLUTED AQUEOUS LIQUIDS
A method of treatment of aqueous liquid contaminated by pollutants, includes (i) mixing the contaminated aqueous liquid with a mineral binder in order to produce an homogeneous slurry, (ii) depositing the slurry, (iii) letting the slurry set and harden, wherein the mineral binder includes Portland cement, and wherein the contaminated aqueous liquid includes organic pollutants.
Geomembrane, Landfill Sheet Using Same, and Radon Barrier Film
There is provided a geomembrane consisting of a multilayer structure comprising a barrier layer (A), an adhesive layer (B) made of an acid-modified thermoplastic resin and a thermoplastic resin layer (C), wherein the thermoplastic resin layer (C) is laminated on at least one side of the barrier layer (A) via the adhesive layer (B), and the barrier layer (A) has an ethylene unit content of 18 mol % or more and 55 mol % or less and comprises a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer comprising a modifying group having a primary hydroxyl group. The geomembrane exhibits excellent peer strength between the barrier layer and the adhesive layer, exhibits further improved peel strength after prolonged exposure to high temperature and high humidity conditions.
