SHEAR PIN SUPPORTED CLEANER FINGER DESIGN
A shear pin supported cleaner finger assembly includes a frame member, a support member attached to the frame member, the support member defining a pivot point and a reactive point. A cleaner finger is pivotally attached to the support member at the pivot point, and a shear pin is positioned at the reactive point.
SOIL CONDITIONING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A soil conditioner apparatus and method condition soil for compaction. The conditioner apparatus creates a heated stream of air directed toward the ground as the conditioner moves along the ground. A mixer on the conditioner mixes soil in the path of the heated air to dry the soil. Some embodiments of the mixer will propel the soil into the air in the stream of heated air. The conditioner can decrease moisture in the soil in the location where the soil will be compacted. In some embodiments, ambient air is introduced into the conditioning process by additional blowers. The mixer can also mix added soil and other additives to the soil in location. The conditioner apparatus may take the form of an apparatus towed by another vehicle, a set of towed apparatuses, an apparatus carried by another vehicle, or a self propelled vehicle having the operational elements of the soil conditioner.
LOW-PROFILE FLUID CONDUIT/COLLECTOR AND SYSTEM
A low-profile fluid collection conduit includes an elongate outer cover having an upper portion and a lower portion generally opposite the upper portion, with the outer cover being much wider than it is tall and defining an interior volume. An elongate rigid spacer is fitted within the interior volume of the elongate outer cover, with the elongate spacer allowing the majority of the interior volume to be unfilled so as to permit the flow of fluid along and within the elongate outer cover. The collection conduit is used with a fluid-impermeable membrane as part of a landfill fluid collection and conveyance system.
SEALING WALL BUILDING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SEALING WALL BUILDING MATERIAL
The invention relates to a sealing wall building material, which has a binding agent with cement and aggregates. It is provided according to the invention that the binding agent comprises a mixture of cement and fly ash, wherein it is free of clay material, and that it has an impermeability with a kf value of 10.sup.7 m/s and less.
LANDFILL WELL HEAD COVER STABILIZATION MOUNT
A well head cover is disclosed for mounting on a landfill gas discharge pipe. The well head cover includes a polymer molded body, with the body having a neck with an outlet orifice surface sized to accommodate the landfill gas discharge pipe extending through the outlet orifice surface. A stabilizer is disposed within the body that stabilizes the polymer molded body to the landfill gas discharge pipe, and assists in maintaining the landfill gas discharge pipe in a vertically upright orientation.
Methods and systems for landfill thermal insulation
Systems and methods are disclosed for landfill systems, comprising waste, a geosynthetic product, and a layer of foam glass aggregates interposed between the waste and the geosynthetic product.
Tufted Geotextile With Increased Shear Resistance To Hydraulic Infill Displacement And Dry-Flow Loading
A tufted geotextile for covering a land surface, comprising a porous backing sheet densely tufted to provide simulated grass blades having interstices therebetween on a tuft gauge of about 20 tufts per foot to about 50 tufts per foot and the adjacent lines spaced about inch, the interstices for receiving an infill from the backing sheet to a fill plane to increase shading of the interstices by the tuft blades on the backing sheet while resisting hydraulic displacement and movement of the infill while overlying the ground surface for covering purposes. A closure system is disclosed using the tufted geotextile as a component overlying an impermeable geomembrane for resisting inflow of water below the ground surface.
WELL HEAD COVER AND ASSEMBLY
A well head cover and assembly is disclosed. The well head cover includes a top discharge section; a bottom engagement section; and a middle section interconnecting the top and bottom sections. The top section includes a sleeve of a predetermined length to prevent the well head cover from tilting when installed on a conduit.
Isolation and restoration method for compound contaminated soil
The present disclosure provides an isolation and restoration method for compound contaminated soil. The isolation and restoration method for the compound contaminated soil provided by the present disclosure is used for isolation and restoration of a contaminated site, which includes: laying an isolation layer, a pure soil layer and an arable soil layer containing compound soil in turn on the contaminated site which is flattened and compacted, where the compound soil is composed of loess, slaked lime, fine sand and substances having an adsorption function in a volume ratio.
ARTICULABLE EROSION CONTROL MATTRESS, MANUFACTURING SYSTEM, MATTRESS ROLLING SYSTEM, AND METHODS
An articulating mattress of blocks interconnected with tensiles seated therein, said blocks having opposing longitudinal and transverse sides and a top surface each of a smooth surface by contact with a mold surface during casting and a bottom surface having a rough surface by screeding the flowable casting material from an open side of a mold formwork. The mattress inverted with a rolling apparatus for installation with the rough surface in frictional contact on a ground surface for erosion control, said mattress rolling apparatus having base, front wheels, and steerable rear wheels, with a rolling mechanism for rolling the articulating mattress. An apparatus and a method of casting an articulable mattress with a rough bottom surface for erosion control are disclosed.
