Device and method for mounting a bearing on a roll neck and for removing the bearing from the roll neck
The invention relates to a device and a method for mounting a bearing 200 on a roll neck and for removing the bearing from the roll neck of a roll. Known devices of this type have a first and a second piston/cylinder unit. They also have a stop ring 130, fixed in the axial direction A at the end of the roll neck 320 remote from the body, which acts as a stop for the inner piston 110 of the first piston/cylinder unit. In addition, the known devices have a nut 150 which can be screwed onto an external thread of the inner piston to secure the bearing 200 in the axial direction, in particular during a rolling operation. As an alternative to the known prior art, the present invention provides that an annular cylinder 120 serves both as a cylinder for the first piston/cylinder unit and as a cylinder for the second piston/cylinder unit. For its function as a cylinder for the second piston/cylinder unit, said annular cylinder is covered to a certain ex ent on its side remote from the body by an annular cylinder cover 122. The cylinder cover 122 serves, together with an outer flange 142 of an outer piston 140, to axially delimit a removal pressure chamber 2 of the second piston/cylinder unit.

The ledge extends forwardly from the laterally extending wall and extending between the side walls. The ledge and the walls define a recess having an opened side. The ledge has a front edge for abutting a lamination surface of the working roller. At least a portion of the ledge is an angled portion extending upward and rearward from the front edge toward the laterally extending wall. The dispensing unit body defines at least one lubricant passage having an outlet defined in the laterally extending wall.

ROLL FORMING MACHINE
Changing of a horizontal roll in a horizontal roll stand involving readjustment of an amount of pressing is to be done readily and promptly. In order to achieve this, a horizontal roll stand 10 with a pair of built-in upper and lower horizontal rolls 11 is configured to retreat toward one side across a forming line. A fixed stand 40 stands upright on a counter-retreating side of the forming line. An overhang part 42 of the fixed stand 40 jutting out over the forming line is provided with a pressure device 43 that applies a pressing force to the horizontal rolls 11. The horizontal roll stand 10 includes a horizontal roll housing 12 with an opened top, receives the pressing force from the pressure device 43 via the opened top, and retreats to the outside of the forming line while the pressure device 43 is left on the forming line. The overhang part 42 of the fixed stand 40 is engaged with the horizontal roll housing 12 of the horizontal roll stand 10 to support the horizontal roll housing 12 in the forming line.
ROLL CHANGING DEVICE
Changing rolls in rolling equipment is performed more efficiently. For this purpose, a roll changing device (12) for changing a pair of top and bottom work rolls (21) provided in a rolling mill (11) for rolling a strip to be passed therethrough includes: a work roll holding unit (51) holding the pair of top and bottom work rolls (21) in an attachable/detachable manner and capable of moving the work rolls (21) in a threading direction; a roll holding device (31) including the work roll holding unit (51) and capable of moving in a roll axis direction relative to the rolling mill (11) in a state of holding the work rolls (21) by using the work roll holding unit (51); and a work roll transfer device (32) capable of moving in a direction intersecting with a moving path of the roll holding device (31) and capable of mounting the work rolls (21).

ROLL STAND
A roll stand for the rolling of rolling stock, especially metal products. The roll stand includes at least two chocks for mounting at least one roll, the roll being rotatably mounted in the chocks by its two cylindrical roll necks. A cylindrical neck bushing is arranged on the roll neck with radial play. A rotationally fixed annual axial bearing is axially offset from the neck bushing. The bearing arrangement for the roll necks in the chocks is formed as a plain bearing, preferably a hydrodynamic oil film bearing. When subjected to a load in a rolling process, the neck bushing moves and deforms not only in the radial direction, but also in the axial direction.
CROSS-ROLLING MILL
The invention relates to a cross-rolling mill, having a plurality of roll shafts (1), each applying a radially directed rolling force to a workpiece, wherein orientation of a roll axis (w) of at least one of the roll shafts (1) adjustably changes about a first adjustment axis (S1) and a second adjustment axis (S2), wherein an intermediate member (9, 10) is arranged between a rotary baring (4, 5) and a control element (11, 12), and wherein the intermediate member (9, 10) includes a rolling force-transmitting rocker pin (14, 15) having a spherical surface (14a, 14b, 15a, 15b) that provides for pivotal movement in a plurality of directions.
