Center hole forming method and forging device
In a center hole forming method, an object to be processed is inserted in a die hole and a shaft is drawn from the object. A load toward a first axial end surface of the object is applied to a second axial end surface of the object without taking out the object from the die hole. A diameter of the first axial end surface is smaller than a diameter of the second axial end surface. A center hole is formed in the first axial end surface by pressing a counter punch against the first axial end surface in a state that the load is applied to the second axial end surface.
TITANIUM-CONTAINING STRUCTURE AND TITANIUM PRODUCT
A titanium-containing structure made of a titanium material includes: a package made of a commercially pure titanium material; and a filler packed into the package, wherein an internal pressure of the package is 10 Pa or less, the pressure being an absolute pressure, and wherein the filler includes at least one selected from titanium sponge, titanium briquet, and titanium scrap, and the filler has the same type of a chemical composition of the commercially pure titanium material. This titanium-containing structure enables production of a titanium product by performing hot working and eliminating the conventional melting step and forging step.

The present invention relates to improvements of equal channel angular extrusion (ECAE). It provides a preservation of billet shape, a simple billet ejection from tool, application of backpressure and minimizes or eliminates flashes and cracks during multi-pass processing. That way, ECAE can be performed at a large scale as a productive and cost effective industrial operation without billet reshaping and preheating between passes.

Method for producing seamless pipes and extruder
A method for producing seamless pipes and an extruder are provided, including: S1, sleeving an ingot holding cylinder on an upsetting shaft and feeding an aluminum bar; S2, moving the ingot holding cylinder backwards; S3, squeezing the aluminum bar by an extrusion plug; S4, after upsetting, moving the ingot holding cylinder and the extrusion plug back to one side away from the upsetting shaft; S5, removing the upsetting shaft and installing a mold on the mold shaft; S6, perforating the aluminum bar after upsetting by a perforating needle; S7, extruding the perforated aluminum bar by the extrusion plug. The aluminum bar after upsetting keeps the same central axis as the extruder centerline and the ingot holding cylinder. The seamless pipes extruded from the mold are uniform, thereby improving their concentricity and finished product rate.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING ALUMINUM ALLOY EXTRUDED PART
A method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy extruded part includes: hot-extruding a 7000 series aluminum alloy by an extruder to form an extruded material; cutting the extruded material extruded from the extruder and moving forward to a predetermined length; applying plastic working to the cut extruded material in a state in which Vickers hardness of the extruded material is 50 to 70 (Hv); and applying aging treatment to the extruded material after the plastic working.
