Disclosed is a method, system, and electronic device for precision roll bending of cylinder with variable curvature section. The method first obtains process parameters of roll bending of a target cylinder, and then conducts roll bending rebound simulation of the cylinder based on the process parameters to determine influence factors of rebound compensation error. Then, multiple sets of different preset influence factor values are set to perform roll bending rebound simulation of different arc segments. This disclosure uses multiple simulations of the rebound caused by cylinder roll bending to determine the factors that affect the rebound compensation error and the magnitude of the rebound compensation error that may be caused by these factors. Finally, an expression for the rebound compensation error is obtained to correct the rebound compensation equation, eliminating the error caused by rebound compensation, and ensuring that the cylinder forming meets the expected accuracy requirements.
Method and device for determining a bending angle on a bending machine
The present disclosure is directed to a method for determining the bending angle on a bending machine, wherein the bending machine includes an upper tool and a lower tool for reshaping a workpiece by bending along a bending line. One or more measuring arrangements are positioned on the bending machine, which together include at least one illumination device and in each case at least one image acquisition device. Each measuring arrangement is assigned a different surface portion of the workpiece which lies laterally adjacent to the bending line and extends along the bending line. A light pattern is imaged on the workpiece by means of the at least one illumination device of a respective measuring arrangement onto the assigned surface portion. The light pattern contains a plurality of zones which are arranged side by side along the bending line.

Method for bending a workpiece
The invention relates to a method for bending a workpiece (1) of sheet metal, whereby a deformation region (6), in particular a strip-shaped region, on the workpiece (1) containing the bent edge to be produced (5) is heated before and/or during the bending process to a deforming temperature below the fusion temperature of the metal to increase deformability locally. In order to reduce undesirable deformation due to shrinkage stress, the workpiece (1) is heated before and/or during and/or after the bending operation in at least one heating zone (11) that is different from the deformation region (6) by means of the application of energy from outside the workpiece (1) starting from an initial temperature to a processing temperature below the fusion temperature of the metal.

ROLL-BENDING PROCESSING METHOD AND PROCESSING DEVICE
A method for deriving the position of a pushing roll, applied even when there is a difference between the actual processed shape and a theoretical solution (a numerical analysis solution) due to changes in a state of a processing machine or the bending characteristic of the material to be processed. The rolls have a pyramid-like shape, and the operation amount of a pushing roll is changed while continuously feeding a material, thereby bending the material. Also, for each position of the fixed pushing roll, the radius of curvature of the material is measured and the bending characteristic is grasped in advance. From the design shape, the radius of curvature and the operation amount for bringing the pushing roll into contact are obtained. The operation amount of the pushing roll is then determined.
FULLY-AUTOMATED GENERATION OF FIXED-ANGLE ADDENDUMS FOR USE WITH SHEET FORMING MANUFACTURING
A computer-implemented method of generating an addendum surface for use in forming a sheet metal part by using an Incremental Sheet Forming (ISF) manufacturing process, wherein the method includes: providing a Computer Aided Design (CAD) geometry of the sheet metal part to be formed; and generating an addendum surface that surrounds and extends the CAD geometry; wherein the addendum surface has a constant slope everywhere and has no regions of self-intersection. The addendum surface can be used to manufacture a male and/or a female underform tool for use in the ISF process, such as Two-Point Incremental Forming (TPIF). The addendum surface has a user-specified constant design wall angle, .sub.c, which can be selected to prevent tearing of sheet metal parts during ISF due to excessive thinning at large wall angles (i.e., wall angles greater than 60).
