A portable and collapsible stadium seat comprises a seat bottom support, a back support, and a safety latch for properly positioning the seat in place relative to a stadium bleacher seating surface or bench. The seat bottom support and back support are interconnected for movement between an operative, or set-up, condition defining a seating surface and a back support surface, and a collapsed, or bundled, condition designed for easy transport and storage of the seat. The safety latch is movably connected on underside of the seat bottom support, preferably towards the forward end thereof, and provides a stop and an arm facilitating proper and safe positioning of the seat on a bleacher or bench surface for use. The seat preferably includes a carrying strap or handle for transporting the collapsed and bundled seat, for example, over the user's shoulder or via a hand grasp.

A portable lumbar support and ergonomic chair having a lumbar support. The lumbar support has a seat hingedly coupled to a seat back having a teardrop-shaped lumbar support seat back cushion. A rigid back support portion may be rotated forward about hinges to collapse substantially parallel to the seat frame and backward to open to a variety of angles with respect to the seat frame. The seat back freely pivots around an upper lateral axis, and the rigid back support portion is linearly adjustable to space the seat back toward and away from the hinges to enable raising or lowering the upper lateral axis and thus the seat back with respect to the lower lateral axis. This provides multiple ways of changing which part of the teardrop-shaped lumbar support curve hits your lumbar curve for proper support. Variable lumbar lordotic support is thus provided.

A multifunctional grandstand chair includes a chair frame, a cushion movably arranged on the chair frame, and backrest cloth. The chair frame includes a base frame, a backrest tube and two foot supports, which are respectively pivoted to two sides of the base frame and capable of being inwards folded onto the base frame or outwards unfolded to support the base frame. The multifunctional grandstand chair further includes fixed connecting pieces connected between the base frame and the foot supports to limit the maximum unfolding angle of the foot supports. When the multifunctional grandstand chair needs to be transformed into a grandstand chair structure, the foot supports are folded onto the base frame. When the multifunctional grandstand chair needs to be transformed into a common chair, the foot supports are unfolded to be supported on the ground.

A back rest assembly includes a base assembly mountable adjacent a resting surface and a back rest having a supported side pivotably supported by the base assembly and an unsupported side spaced laterally apart from the supported side along a lateral axis. When the base assembly is mounted, the back rest is positionable over the resting surface and selectively pivotable about the lateral axis for adjusting an angular position of the back rest relative to the resting surface.

A chair comprising a seat base, a back rest, the back rest having a first arm connected to the seat base by a first pivot and a second arm connected to the seat base by a second pivot so that the back rest can pivot between a first folded position and a second position, the first pivot being biased so that in the absence of any force applied by a user, the back rest maintains the first position wherein a damper is included to ensure to retard the movement of the seat from the second position to the first position in the absence of any force applied.

A chair comprising a seat base, a back rest, the back rest having a first arm connected to the seat base by a first pivot and a second arm connected to the seat base by a second pivot so that the back rest can pivot between a first folded position and a second position, the first pivot being biased so that in the absence of any force applied by a user, the back rest maintains the first position wherein a damper is included to ensure to retard the movement of the seat from the second position to the first position in the absence of any force applied.

A multifunctional folding chair that may be used by spectators at many types of events, including sporting events, camping, tailgating, and the like. The folding chair may include height adjustable legs that allow the seat to be used on uneven surfaces and to be adjustable for various users (e.g., for children and adults). The height adjustable legs may be capable of being secured substantially flush with the base of the seat when not needed (e.g., when used on bleachers).

A portable, folding chair. Two front leg supports are pivotally connected to a seat frame and extend downward from the seat frame. Two rear leg supports are also pivotally connected to the seat frame. A majority of the length of each rear leg support is positioned above the seat frame. Two individually adjustable front legs extend downward from the front leg supports and two individually adjustable rear legs extend downward from the rear leg support. A front foldable leg brace is connected between the two front leg supports and a rear foldable leg brace is connected between the two rear leg supports. In preferred embodiments, the chair may be utilized in a variety of seating arrangements, such as: bleacher seating, concrete stadium seating, slope seating, flat surface seating and uneven surface seating.
