Medical support apparatus
A medical chair includes a base, a seat, and a leg rest pivotally mounted relative to the seat and adapted to move between an extended position and a retracted position. The chair further includes a first actuator for tilting the seat with respect to the base, a second actuator for lifting the seat with respect to the base, and a leg rest actuator adapted to move the leg rest. The chair also includes a controller adapted to control the first and second actuators to move the seat between a first position and a second position such that the seat is both lifted and tilted at the same time as the seat moves from the first position to the second position, and wherein the controller is adapted to control the leg rest actuator such that the leg rest maintains a substantially constant orientation with respect to the floor.

Drive motor-linear actuator system for powered lift or powered reclining chairs
A drive motor-linear actuator system, for use within, for example, powered chairs, comprises a single drive motor provided with a pair of output drive shafts, and a pair of laterally spaced, left and right-side linear actuators operatively engaged respectively with the pair of output drive shafts. In this manner, the single drive motor can simultaneously actuate both linear actuators in a synchronized manner. The linear actuators are disposed near the opposite left and right sides of the chair so as to provide enhanced stability to the chair while reducing the weight and cost of the chair since only one single drive motor is required to drive both linear actuators.

Facilitated entry and exit seating system and method of use
A facilitated entry and exit seating system allows a person to rest in a hair salon style chair without the obstruction of a footrest. The seat portion rotates so that the footrest is at the side of the seat. The person enters and the seat is rotated to allow for use of the footrest.

Powered shop stool with kneeling mechanism
A power shop stool that is battery powered and is a personal lifting device. The combination of components leads to a small compact device and allows a worker to adjust the seat height from 6 to 24 from floor lever in a vertical up and down fashion and it has the capability of stopping anywhere in between 6 inches and 24 inches.

Chair
A chair has a seat, a backrest, a lift structure, a back supporting structure, and a waist supporting structure. The backrest is deposited behind the seat. The lift structure is deposited on the backrest. The back supporting structure has a bending element and multiple supporting strips. The bending element is connected with the backrest and the lift structure, and is elastic and bendable to deform. The supporting strips are deposited on the bending element at spaced intervals from a top to a bottom of the bending element. The waist supporting structure is deposited in front of the back supporting structure. The waist supporting structure has two pivoting bases and a supporting plate. The pivoting bases are deposited on the seat. The supporting plate is pivoted between the two pivoting bases, abuts the back supporting structure, and selectively abuts the backrest.
