VEHICLE SEAT DEVICE
A vehicle seat device lifts and lowers a seat. The vehicle seat device includes a base, a lifter link, and a drive device. The lifter link includes a plurality of members that move a seat cushion of the seat vertically relative to the base. The drive device is coupled to the lifter link. The drive device relatively moves the lifter link. The drive device is attached to the base, a vehicle floor, or a seat-mounting device fixed to the vehicle floor.
CHAIR
The present invention relates to a chair having a center of gravity that can be intentionally made to adopt an unstable state when the chair is sat upon. The objective of the present invention is to provide a self-standing type chair that is unstable when in use and that automatically stands by itself using auxiliary legs when not in use, and that is convenient to handle. The main feature of the present invention is that, in order for a chair that is unstable when in use to be self-standing when not in use, auxiliary legs (14a, 14b), other than a main leg, form new points of contact with a floor or ground surface by utilizing the action of an urging means and a driving force transmission means that accompanies the removal of weight from the chair by a user.

Adjustable chair
An adjustable chair includes upper and lower base members, a seat assembly secured to the upper base member, and a chair adjusting mechanism. In an embodiment the upper base member is connected to the lower base member by first and second linking members each having a first end connected to the lower base member and a second end slideably received in corresponding first and second arcuate tracks disposed in the upper base member, such that movement of the second ends into and out of the tracks results in vertical movement of the seat assembly relative to the base. In a further embodiment the seat bottom and seat base comprise cooperating arcuate rails, tracks, and/or bearing members, where cooperative action of the arcuate rails, tracks, and/or bearing members enables the seat bottom to tilt relative to the seat base. In a further embodiment the seat bottom and seat back comprise cooperating arcuate rails, tracks, and/or bearing members, where cooperative action of the arcuate rails, tracks, and/or bearing members enables the seat back to recline relative to the seat bottom.

Furniture member with adjustable seat height
A furniture member may include a base assembly and a seat assembly. The base assembly may include a base structure, a post, a support frame, and a height-adjustment mechanism. The post extends vertically upward from the base structure. The support frame may include a cross member and a sleeve. The sleeve may slidably and rotatably receive the post for vertical movement of the support frame relative to the base structure along a longitudinal axis of the post and for rotational movement relative to the base structure about the longitudinal axis. The height-adjustment mechanism may include a height-adjustment actuator configured to move the support frame vertically along the longitudinal axis. The cross member of the support frame may include a pair of rocker springs mounted thereon. The seat assembly may be mounted on the rocker springs and may include a seat bottom, a seatback, and armrest members.
