A method produces a bent part from an elongate workpiece, in particular from a wire or a tube from round, flat, or profiled material, by a bending machine, the workpiece is fed to a bending unit of the bending machine, wherein the bending unit has a bending head which by a Z-drive is displaceable in a manner parallel with a bending head axis and has a bending tool which by a bending drive is rotatable about a bending axis. A fed portion of the workpiece by operating movements of the bending head is formed to a two-dimensionally or three-dimensionally bent part.

A servo-rotating all-function tool module is provided for use with a spring forming machine and includes an axle rotating tool module and a servo transmission module assembly. The axle rotating tool module is rotatably mounted, in combination with an axle of the rotary axle assembly of the spring forming machine, to a front wall board and includes an oscillating base and a tool. The oscillating base is rotatably mounted to the rotary axle assembly. The tool is mounted to an end of the oscillating base. The servo transmission module assembly is mounted to the spring forming machine and includes a servo moving ring circumferentially surrounding the oscillating base for driving the oscillating base to oscillate in all directions to thereby cause the tool to press down or lift upward.

A servo-rotating all-function tool module is provided for use with a spring forming machine and includes an axle rotating tool module that is mounted, together with an axle, to a front wall board and includes a tool and an axle slide base mounted to the axle, so that the axle slide base is acted upon by a force to slide along the axle, the tool is caused to press downward or return upward. A servo transmission module assembly is mounted to the spring forming machine to provide a driving force for causing the axle slide base to slide along the axle. Since the tool module is mounted, together with the axle, to a front wall board of the spring forming machine, the direction in which the tool approaches a wire can be varied by rotating the axle in order to conduct operations of bending at different angles and twisting/looping.

An orthodontic wire bending device includes a providing part, a bending unit and a cutting part. The providing part is configured to provide a wire. The bending unit is disposed at a front side of the providing part, and includes a fixing part and a bending part. The fixing part is configured to fix the wire. The bending part is configured to bend the wire fixed by the fixing part. The cutting part is configured to cut the wire bent by the bending part. The bending part includes a bending module, and the bending module is rotated along a circumferential direction or moves along a direction to make contact with at least one side of the wire for bending the wire.

A method of bending a metallic article comprising at least the following steps is described: a) executing a relative movement between a bending head having at least one bending group and the metallic article, and b) bending the metallic article by means of an activation of the bending group. During step b), at least a first actuation device actuates the bending group according to a respective motion profile and during the step a), at least a second actuation device actuates a relative movement between the bending head and the metallic article according to a respective motion profile. The method also comprises a step of preparing, during which a respective initial motion profile of the first actuation device and/or of the second actuation device is modified for obtaining the respective motion profile in function of a first parameter and of a second parameter.

A device and method for bending strand-shaped workpieces are described with a holder for a strand-shaped workpiece. A bending tool comprises at least one radius part and one bending part. The workpiece can be bent by pivoting the bending part about the radius part. A workpiece drive shaft that extends at least in a longitudinal direction is provided for driving the bending tool and a positioning device for positioning the bending tool relative to the workpiece. The positioning device allows a displacement of the bending tool and the tool driveshaft in at least one transverse direction that runs transversely to the longitudinal direction. A drive wheel is rotatably arranged around an axis that is fixed relative to the workpiece and is coupled via a transmission device to drive the tool driveshaft. The transmission device has a coupling element that can move transverse to the axis of the drive wheel.

The present disclosure relates to an automatic forming machine for plant growth supports, comprising a ring rolling system with a ring rolling unit, a mold system with a mold unit, and a welding system, which are all disposed on a machine frame, wherein the ring rolling unit can roll a metal wire and make the metal wire be formed into a ring with an opening in the mold unit; the mold system is for carrying the ring and making two free ends of the ring with an opening aligned or alternately overlap with each other; the welding system welds can weld the opening of the ring carried by the mold unit, causing the ring to become a closed ring. The present disclosure has a high automatic degree and can reduce the production time and labor cost.
