Upholstered furniture including molded furniture components
An upholstered chair, recliner, or sofa with a frame including a pair blowmolded hollow arm rest forms, wherein frame members extend between the forms. Further components may be blowmolded such as a backrest. The arm rest forms and backrest may be reinforced with metal plates and assembled into a recliner. The connections to the arm rest forms providing a geometrically rigid and robust frame that is weighs less, is quicker to assemble, and is more robust. Upholstery sacks are easily attached to the frame.

The present disclosure relates to a chair back assembly with an outer frame and an inner frame, wherein the outer frame is manufactured of different material than the inner frame to allow for a variety in support throughout the chair back assembly, resulting in localized support throughout the back of the chair. The availability of localized support results in an improvement in comfort and may also improve production in embodiments utilizing a foam covering. Specifically, the inner frame of the chair back assembly may include at least one vertical member and at least one horizontal member to provide additional support to the user.

The first floor of each first depression is aligned with the second floor of an adjacent second depression.

CONNECTION STRUCTURE FOR COMPOSITE BACKREST AND A METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A connection structure for a composite backrest and a method for making the same are provided. The connection structure includes two frames, a backrest body, and metal bushings. The metal bushings include a group of left metal bushings and a group of right metal bushings. The two frames are respectively fixed to the left side and the right side of the backrest body by the left metal bushings and the right metal bushings. The method includes: punching the backrest body and the frames; placing the frames into the backrest body; processing the metal bushings; sandblasting or sanding the external surface of the metal bushing; coating a configured structural adhesive on the metal bushing, and oppositely bonding the metal bushing; fixing the bonded metal bushing by a tool; and placing the fixed metal bushing, the composite backrest and the two frames into a drying oven for heating.

The seat board assembly further comprises a metal frame abutting a periphery of seat board, and a bottom end of the metal frame is bent outward to form a hook. A lower end portion of the surrounding edge of the seat board is disposed in the hook, and a portion of the metal frame abuts an inner side of the surrounding edge. The hook is fixedly clamped to a lower edge of the surrounding edge.
