A chair for providing seating support to a user and for providing ways for the user to perform exercises. The chair includes a back support that is flexible such that when a force is applied to it by the user's body, the back support bends. The back support may be configured to adapt to the curvature of the user's spine when the user is seated in the chair. The back support may further be configured such that the user can rotate the back support by rotating the user's upper body.

A ventral support for use in an ergonomic work station chair, the ventral support comprising an adjustable Y axis member and a support unit, the support unit pivotally and extendibly attached to the adjustable Y axis member, wherein the support unit is heart-shaped and includes a rear, a face, and a top therebetween, the face including a right lobe and a left lobe, a clavicles support, which has a right side and a left side, is raised, is proximate the top and is horizontally disposed, and a central ridge, which extends vertically downward from the clavicles support, wherein the right lobe, the right side and the central ridge define a right concavity in the face and the left lobe, the left side and the central ridge define a left concavity in the face.

Disclosed is a chair seat board 100 and a chair 1000 to which a chair backboard 200 is coupled. The chair seat board 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a frame unit 40 having a plurality of frames (41, 42, 43, 44) configured in a hollow shape, respectively, and implemented to allow independent movement; and a support unit configured to support the frame unit 40 while being coupled to the frame unit 40 on a lower side of the frame unit 40.

An apparatus that supports a user in a variety of positions to comfortably perform tasks, such as applying one or more tattoos to skin of a subject is herein disclosed. The apparatus can be reconfigured to optimally position and support the arms and/or chest of the user. A method for using a stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably perform tasks in front of a chest support of the stool.
