A backsaving device having a main body sized and shaped to corresponding to the height of an under-sink cabinet, such that when the backsaving device is disposed adjacent the under-sink cabinet, a top surface of said main body is generally coplanar with a bottom interior of said under-sink cabinet. This allows a worker working under the sink to lay back on the device comfortably without the edge of the cabinet digging into the back or shoulders. A rotatably flip may be used to bridge the gap between the device and sink to prevent pinching.

The lumbar support assistive device includes a plastic rigid main member having a half-fusiform whose front side curves in accordance with human spine. A trough is provided along the front side extended in an axial direction to a bottom side of the main member. A number of forward bulging semi-ellipsoidal elements are arranged at intervals in two columns along lateral sides of the trough. The semi-ellipsoidal elements also raise the lumbar support assistive device to provide enhanced ventilation so that wearing the lumbar support assistive device would not feel sultry.

A collapsible backrest comprises a frame, at least one leg connected to the frame, and a webbing connected to the frame. The frame includes a first frame member, a second frame member, a third frame member, and a fourth frame member. The first frame member and the second frame member are spaced apart and the webbing is connected to and extends between the first frame member and the second frame member. The third frame member is hingedly connected to the first frame member, and the third frame member is releasably connected to the second frame member. The fourth frame member is hingedly connected to the second frame member, and the fourth frame member is releasably connected to the first frame member.

A back support that includes a base for being mounted on a vertical structure and a plurality of projections extending outwardly from a front side of the base, laterally along a width of the base and vertically long a length of the base. A portable mattress seating apparatus attachable to a mattress. The portable mattress seating apparatus clips onto a location on the peripheral of any conventional mattress. The apparatus has a retaining member that is retained under a mattress and above the box spring. The retaining member is attached to a vertical member adjacent to the side of the mattress. The vertical member is attached to another seating member that is oriented parallel to the top of the mattress face. The seat member is attached to a back-rest member. The back-rest member is attached to the seating member distal to the side of the mattress. The back-rest member is adjustable, allowing the back rest to be at acute, obtuse or 90-degree angles to the seating member. Further, the apparatus includes supporting members to spread the weight of a seated person.

A posture improvement assembly includes a base that has a top side and a bottom side and is elongated from a first lateral edge to a second lateral edge. A panel has a top edge and a bottom edge wherein the bottom edge is attached to the top side of the base and extends upwardly therefrom. The bottom edge is oriented parallel to a longitudinal axis extending through the first and second lateral edges. The panel lies in a plane orientated perpendicular to a plane of the bottom side of the base. The panel is telescopic and has an adjustable height. A locking member is mechanically coupled to the panel and releasably locks the panel at a selected height. A cushion is attached to and covers the top edge. The base is positioned on a chair to allow a person to place their back against the panel.

A wedge-shaped support unit that is used in the manner of a mechanic's creeper to support a worker while he repairs items located above him and for which he must lie on his back. The unit includes a tool box section in which items, such as screws, washers and the like are stored and a section which supports workpieces, such as pipes for cutting. The tool box section and the work support section are located on the bottom of the unit. The work support section includes notches in the bottom edge of one side wall of the unit and blind-ended bores defined in the other side wall. Workpieces are supported in the notches and have their ends supported in the bores. The unit has multiple functions: a support for a worker; a tool box to store items; and a work support for holding workpieces.
