A knee-cushion assembly includes an oval forward panel and an oval rearward panel, each cushioned with high density, closed cell foam, which are pivotally interconnected to fan apart to a deployed configuration for use, and to pivot into an overlapping, closed configuration for compact storage. The panels are pivotally interconnected by a pin structure. When deployed, the front faces of both panels are presented and accessible so that a user can rest a knee on each, to protect their knees from the impact, pressure, discomfort and injury that can be caused by placing knees directly on a hard support surface such as a floor. A magnet preferably is secured to the rearward surface of the rearward panel so that the assembly can be magnetically attached to any flat steel surface.

A bathing area accessory may be used within a bathing area. The bathing area accessory may be a bathing area shelving assembly, a bathing area bar assembly, a storage assembly, a bathing area seat assembly, or a shaving ledge assembly. The shelving assembly for use within a bathing area may include a niche and at least one shelf that is attachable to, removable from, and reattachable to the attachment portions of the niche. The niche may include attachment portions that receive and secure the at least one shelf. The niche may include two sidewalls that extend substantially vertically along a vertical length of the niche. The attachment portions may be on the two sidewalls and the at least one shelf may attach with a pair of the attachment portions that are vertically aligned with each other.

The present disclosure is directed to adjustable toilet footrests while using a toilet. In one example, an adjustable toilet footrest has a foot platform having at least two telescopic legs extending therefrom, wherein the telescopic legs have a locking mechanism that allows for the height of the platform to be selectively adjusted to a user's desire.

An ottoman linkage is provided that moves a footrest from a closed position to an extended position. The ottoman linkage includes a front ottoman link coupled to a seat mounting plate, and an outside ottoman link pivotally coupled to the front ottoman link. A rear ottoman link is coupled to the seat mounting plate and the outside ottoman link. An inside ottoman link is pivotally coupled on a first end to the front ottoman link, and pivotally coupled on a second end to a footrest bracket, the inside ottoman link being generally in-line with the outside ottoman link when the mechanism is in an extended position, and the outside ottoman link having a width that obscures the inside ottoman link from view.

The footrest aids in reducing leg swelling, leg cramps, restless leg syndrome, complications from arthritis and diabetes, neuropath, nerve pain and knee and foot pain. The footrest also aids in increasing oxygenated blood rich in nutrients, alertness, creativity, and productivity.

A foot care apparatus suitable for imaging a foot of a user may include a support stand. A footrest may be supported by the support stand. The footrest may be configured to support the foot of the user. A tray may extend from the footrest. A camera mount device may be supported by the tray. The camera mount device may be configured to hold an electronic device having a camera with the camera facing the footrest. The footrest, the tray and the camera mount device may be disposed within an imaging plane. The support stand may be adjustable such that the imaging plane coincides with a horizontal plane or slopes with respect to the horizontal plane upwardly from the footrest to the camera mount device.

A foot care apparatus suitable for imaging a foot of a user may include a support stand. A footrest may be supported by the support stand. The footrest may be configured to support the foot of the user. A tray may extend from the footrest. A camera mount device may be supported by the tray. The camera mount device may be configured to hold an electronic device having a camera with the camera facing the footrest. The footrest, the tray and the camera mount device may be disposed within an imaging plane. The support stand may be adjustable such that the imaging plane coincides with a horizontal plane or slopes with respect to the horizontal plane upwardly from the footrest to the camera mount device.

Apparatus for lifting and supporting the lower leg and foot of a seated patient comprising a heel or an ankle support adapted to fit beneath the patient's heel or ankle, lifting means for raising said support, and in which the support is releasable from the lifting means.

The assembly chair includes a pair of frames, a plurality of coupling rods, a plurality of pairs of depressed portions, at least one support member, and a sheet. The sheet is removably installed between the support member and the coupling rod. At least at one end portion of the sheet, the sheet includes a plurality of inserted portions along a width direction of the sheet. A flat plate is passed through at least one of the inserted portions. The support member with a flat intermediate portion is passed through another one of the inserted portions. The sheet is wound around outer peripheries of the inserted portion through which the plate is passed and the inserted portion through which the support member is passed to adjust a length of the sheet. In such state, the support member has both end portions fitted to the depressed portions on the frames.

A foot support platform has a foot rest plate mounted pivotably on a housing of the foot platform. The lower face of the foot rest plate is supported by a spring. A mechanical detent device locks the foot rest plate in a pivot position. The foot platform is further provided with a remote-controlled mechanical locking device for engagement with the mechanical detent device. There is also described a desk having a foot platform.
