Mattress supporting system with headboard attachment
A folding mattress support system replaces a conventional bed frame with rails and the box spring. The mattress support system is lighter, easier to transport, and provides more storage space beneath the mattress. The mattress support system includes bed frame assemblies, central connecting bars, edge attachments, headboard attachments and a bed skirt. Leg supports fold out from the bed frame assemblies, which themselves unfold in the middle. Central connecting bars connect inner side edges of the bed frame assemblies. Plastic edge attachments are attached at outer corners of the bed frame assemblies and hold a bed skirt taut when the frame assemblies are standing on extended leg supports. A mattress is then placed on top of the assembled mattress support system. Optionally, metal edge attachments at the head corners hold both the bed skirt and a headboard. Alternatively, headboard attachments protrude from under the bed skirt and support a headboard.
PLUMBER'S SUPPORT HAVING IMPROVED HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT CAPABILITIES AND PROVIDING ENHANCED UPPER BODY SUPPORT
A height adjustable plumber's support includes an elongated board having top and bottom major surfaces that extend from a proximal end to a distal end of the elongated board, a cushioned pad covering a central region of the top major surface, a head pad covering the top major surface adjacent the distal end of the elongated board, a foot pad covering the top major surface adjacent the proximal end of the elongated board, and a pair of flexible handles secured to opposite lateral sides of the elongated board. The height adjustable plumber's support includes a foldable support leg secured to the proximal end of the elongated board. The foldable support leg has a vertical section and a horizontally extending section. The foldable support leg is height adjustable for adjusting the height of the proximal end of the elongated board over a floor surface, such as when the distal end of the elongated board is inserted into a cabinet having an elevated base.
EXTENDABLE FLUID CONDUIT FOR RECONFIGURABLE BED
A patient support system including a frame having first and second portions, at least one of them movable with respect to the other to transition the frame between a first configuration and a second configuration. A first port is coupled to the first portion of the frame, and a second port disposed with the second portion of the frame, such that a distance between the first port and the second port changes when the frame transitions between the first and second configurations. A fluid conduit is arranged between the first port and the second port and configured to transition between a first length and a second length, longer than the first length, when the frame is transitioned between the first and second configurations. The fluid conduit is configured with a resiliency to naturally return toward the first length. A method of using a patient support system is also included.
FOLDING BED FRAME
A bed frame that can be assembled without the use of tools. The bed frame can also be easily collapsed into a relatively compact package since the normal long side rails are comprised of two components that can be manipulated such that the two components can be in an end to end orientation when the side rails used in a bed frame or in a generally side by side orientation to facilitate shipping and storage. The cross rails can also be formed of two components that can be moved between an end to end orientation and a generally parallel orientation. A locking system locks certain of the components into a fixed position when in the end to end orientation.

Mattress lifting system
A mattress lifting system includes a bed that includes a mattress, a frame and a headboard. The mattress rests on the frame. A lifting unit is positioned beneath the mattress and the lifting unit is movable beneath the mattress. The lifting unit includes a rotating portion. The lifting unit is positionable in a raised position such that the rotating portion engages and lifts the mattress off of the frame. The lifting unit is movable when the lifting unit lifts the mattress thereby facilitating the mattress to be rotated without contacting the headboard. The lifting unit is positionable in a lowered position such that the rotating portion is spaced from the mattress such that the mattress rests on the frame.
Height adjustable bed framework with a lift chain and a planetary gear train
A height adjustable bed framework 12 includes a base frame 24, an elevatable frame 30, a lift chain 50 and a power module 52. The lift chain is connected to the base frame or the elevatable frame and the power module is connected to the other frame. The power module includes an energy converter such as an electric motor 90, a planetary gear train 110 driven by the energy converter and a chain driver, such as a sprocket 160, engaged with the lift chain and driven by the planetary gear train.
ADJUSTABLE PEDESTAL STRUCTURE OF THE BED
The object of the invention is the adjustable pedestal structure of the bed, by means of which the height and tilt positions of the sleeping platform structure can be adjusted. The pedestal structure consists of the three structural parts supported by the foot structure (30) equipped with wheels, the lower structural part (1a), the middle structural part (1b) and the upper structural part (1c), which consist of the rotation cylinders (2, 4, 6) acting as the adjustment mechanisms for the simultaneous or individual adjustment movements of the structural parts of the pedestal structure and the lever arms (3, 7, 5a) connected thereto and the axles (13a, 13b, 13c) connected to the ends of the lever arms to opposite ends of the rotation cylinders, around which the adjusting movements of the structural parts of the adjustable pedestal structure take place. The sleeping platform frame structure of the bed (31) is connected to the lever arms (5a) of the upper structural part (1c) of the pedestal structure.
BEDDING SUPPORT ASSEMBLY AND FOLDABLE BED FRAME HAVING SAME
Disclosed are adjustable supports, bedding support assemblies, and foldable bed frames having adjustable supports, bedding support assemblies or both. A foldable bed frame includes first and second sub-frames, first and second leg assemblies, and one or more bedding support assemblies to support a bed cloth. First and second sub-frames are pivotally connected to each other at their proximal sides. First and second leg assemblies are pivotally connected with the first and second sub-frames, respectively. A bedding support assembly includes a bedding support, and one or more linking mechanisms to pivotally connect the bedding support with a sub-frame, a leg assembly or both. The bedding support assembly folds and unfolds along with the sub-frame and the leg assembly.
BED FOR PROMOTING GROWTH AND RELAXING JOINTS AND MUSCLES
A bed for promoting growth and relaxing joints and muscles includes a bed mattress part and rotation roller parts on both sides of the mattress part to support a user's upper and lower body, which move the user's upper and lower body in the directions of the end of the head and the end of the toes with respect to a pelvis region to stretch the body, thereby promoting growth and relaxing the joints and muscles. The bed promotes growth, in infants, children and teenagers, by providing an artificial stimulus of stretching not only joints in which physeal plates are positioned, but also the whole body in a sleeping state; and in the case of adults whose growth period is complete, recovering joints which have been pressed due to activities such as standing or carrying heavy items, promoting blood circulation by stimulating the skin, and relaxing the muscles.
