A mattress appliance has components that control the remote filling and emptying of an air bladder to levitate a bedroom mattress. The levitation provides access to the outer, lower portions of the mattress to facilitate the installation and removal of an elastic skirted fitted sheet, along with associated bedding, such as mattress pads, flat sheets and blankets. The air bladder is remotely controlled since its air inlet or connection for filling and emptying is not accessible under the mattress. The air bladder size is smaller in both length and width than the corresponding mattress size to provide the hand room needed for convenient access. The components include: an air bladder, an air pump, a solenoid air valve, an on/off switch for the air pump and the solenoid valve, a flexible hose from the air pump and solenoid valve to the air bladder, and an electrical supply cord to the switch.

A mattress raising inflatable including: a. an inflatable body formed of panels having: i. a boxlike structure when inflated with a periphery that substantially follows a rectangular outline matching or just smaller than the mattress to be lifted; ii. a plurality of inflating sections of the boxlike structure of the inflatable body located to raise a number of spaced peripheral areas and central areas; b. an inflating valve in the periphery and substantially external to the inflatable body allowing for pumping to inflate the inflatable body while not providing an impediment felt by a user of the bed in normal use; wherein in an inflatable condition the inflatable body elevates the position of the mattress or portions thereof relative to the bed base to allow removal and replacement of bed linen such as bed sheets substantially without having to physically lift the mattress.

Aspects of the present disclosure generally pertain to bedding that is removably secured to a bed. Aspects of the present disclosure are more specifically directed toward a system and method for bed covering and a breakaway bed covering couple. Other embodiments may include fitted sheets.

The present disclosure relates to a bedding system that can minimize the time, labor and/or frustration associated with making a bed. It comprises a fitted sheet to fit over the mattress top surface and side surfaces and a flat sheet to fit over the fitted sheet outer surface. The flat sheet lower section is being secured/coupled to the fitted sheet lower section. The bedding system further comprises a bedspread to fit over the flat sheet outer surface. The bedspread lower longitudinal edge, the bedspread first side longitudinal edge, the bedspread second side longitudinal edge and the bedspread upper section are being releasably secured to the flat sheet lower longitudinal edge, the flat sheet first side longitudinal edge, the flat sheet second side longitudinal edge and the flat sheet upper section along their respective lengths.

A mattress foot cover includes a top panel, a foot panel, side panels, and a bottom panel that define an opening and a void that receive the foot portion of a mattress, enabling the cover to fit snugly over the foot portion of the mattress. The cover may prevent the mattress or bed linens on the mattress from getting dirty in a mattress or furniture showroom. The cover is adjustable and removable to appropriately fit an applicable mattress.

The present disclosure is directed to a bedding panel system comprising a bottom or fitted sheet with embedded channels throughout such that at least one or more modular top panels and cushions can be attached to create physical sleep chamber spaces and thus independent sleep zones for multiple occupants on a single mattress. A bedding panel system can have dimensions to fit any size mattress. Fitted sheet, modular panels and cushions can include several layered components with comfort or utility features that are customizable for each sleep chamber space. Top, middle and bottom layers of fitted sheet, modular panels and cushions may be comprised of various fabrics and materials desirable for sleep comfort. Middle layers of fitted sheet and modular panels can include items such as foam or gel padding, moisture resistant barriers, biometric sensors for measuring physical health and sleep quality, and hardware for heating and cooling. Customized foot panel compartments comprised of specialized materials and electronic components can also be attached to fitted sheet for elevated comfort in the foot box. Similar materials and cushion components may comprise headrest components designed for the head box sleep section. Bedding panel system components can be embedded with channels, arranged in cross, crisscross and diagonal patterns, containing reinforced holes spaced symmetrically throughout to accommodate different configurations for modular panel and cushion installations with one or more fitted sheets. Bedding panel system component may be fastened together using a variety of material and hardware anchor combinations to enable ease of component connections, sleep comfort, and convenience of occupant access to sleep zones. Similar to modular panel configurations, anchor systems allow cushions, pillows, pillow cases and headrests to connect with fitted sheet to ensure that all sleep components materials remain intact and in place for the duration of the occupants sleep session.

Provided herein is a bed linen system formed from a one-piece panel that includes slits separating a bed sheet portion from a blanket portion and integral gussets that envelop the corners of a mattress. The slits work in conjunction with the gussets to redirect tension from pulling force applied to the blanket towards the center axis of the mattress, thereby making it more difficult to remove the system from the mattress by a user, while allowing the user to ventilate the foot area during use.

A device for securing a mattress and foundation so that they stay in alignment during use. The device includes a pair of cups to engage a corner of a mattress lying on an underlying foundation. One cup engages the mattress and the other the foundation. A hinge region connects the two cups such that the mattress and foundation remain aligned. The device can further include fasteners to secure the cups to the mattress and foundation.

A mattress includes a number of elongate members, webs or straps that span an underside of the mattress and terminate with graspable handle portions. The straps are attached to the underside of the mattress by a hook and loop fastening system. A mattress prop may be used in conjunction with the straps for spacing the mattress from a support surface such as a bed base. In a first version the prop has a mattress attachment member and a base abutment member movable relative to the mattress attachment member from a collapsed configuration to an erected configuration. A spacer member is disposed between the mattress attachment member and the base abutment member for selectively retaining the base abutment member in the erected configuration relative to the mattress attachment member.

A cover for a mattress topper has a planer rectangle sheet. A skirt extends down from a perimeter of the planer rectangle sheet A bottom flap is coupled to distal edges of the skirt. A slide resistant material is attached to an exterior surface of the bottom flap.
