BOX SPRING WITH FOLDABLE FRAME
Furniture pieces are disclosed that have rigid portions that can be separated from other portions of the furniture, with the rigid and other portions being foldable to reduce the space needed for packaging, shipping, and storage. Some embodiments of the present invention are directed to bedding, and more particularly to box springs. In these embodiments, the box spring can comprise a frame that is surrounded by a fabric cover that can have padding or cushioning. The frame can be removed from the fabric cover and can be folded or collapsed to reduce its size. The fabric cover can also be folded, with the now folded frame and cover having a greatly reduced size for shipping and storage. This reduces the cost of shipping and storage for the box spring, and also provides the option to the end user to more easily store the box spring when desired.
Packaging structure of folding bed and packaging method thereof
The invention discloses a packaging structure of a folding bed and a packaging method thereof. The packaging structure includes a folding bedstead including at least three unit frames, the adjacent unit frames are mutually hinged, and a mattress capable of being rolled up. When the folding bedstead is packaged, a space for receiving the rolled mattress is formed by the unit frames. The packaging method includes the following steps: S1, folding the unit frames of the folding bedstead to form a space; S2, rolling up the mattress and putting the rolled mattress into a space formed by the unit frame; S3, putting the folded folding bedstead into the box. The invention method allows for the most space efficient packing possible thereby reducing the amount of space occupied by the bed and reducing transportation costs.
FRAGMENTED BED CAPABLE OF BEING EASILY ASSEMBLED AND DEFORMED
According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a fragmented bed comprising: a mattress formed of a material on which a user can comfortably lie; and a bed unit which has a space in which the mattress can be seated and is formed so that the mattress can be spaced apart from the floor, wherein the bed unit comprises: a lower support frame having a space in which the mattress can be seated in the upper surface thereof; and bed legs which are formed so that the lower support frame is spaced apart from an installation surface.
FURNITURE CONSTRUCTION WITH ELASTIC OR SPRING MODULES
Furniture is assembled from elastic modules enabling rapid and convenient assembly and disassembly. The elastic module has a spring, an outer covering layer, and an end member attached to an end face of the outer covering layer. A mattress includes a plurality of individual spring assemblies (145), with each spring assembly including at least one spring (134) and a spring cap (144, 150, 161, 164, 171, 184, 194, 204). Each spring cap has at least one first attachment fitting (168, 178, 174, 186, 196) and at least one second attachment fitting (169, 180, 176, 187) with each first attachment fitting engageable into or onto and removable from a second attachment fitting of an adjoining spring cap. The spring assemblies are attached to each other via the first and second attachment fittings, forming the individual spring assemblies into a spring core. A top pad is positioned on top of the spring core. The mattress can be quickly dis-assembled and stored in a compact space by removing the top pad and separating the spring assemblies from each other.
SPRING MODULE AND SPRING CUSHION FOR FURNITURE
The present invention provides a spring module for a spring cushion of furniture and a spring cushion having the same, the spring module may comprise a spring and a spring bracket for accommodating the conical spring, and the spring bracket may comprise a base, an end cover and a flexible connecting part connected therebetween, the spring may be fixed in the spring bracket with a predetermined initial pressure. The present invention further relates to a spring cushion having the spring module.
MATTRESS FOUNDATION AND PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE
Partially assembled mattress foundations, assembled mattress foundation and methods of manufacture generally include laminating a single piece fabric covering to a foundation frame including a planar support, side fame members, and transverse frame members. During assembly, the laminated fabric covering functions as a hinge such that the operator can fold the various side frame members and transverse frame members about a peripheral edge of the planar support to perpendicular orient the frame members relative to the planar support and form a rectangular shaped fabric covered foundation frame. Corner guards are attached to respective ends of the side frame members and the transverse frame members to form the corners of the foundation frame, wherein the respective ends are at 90 degrees relative to one another, and wherein the corner guard can include an arcuate exterior face.
Compressible foam foundation for mattress support
A foundation for a mattress is formed from a foam block and may also have supports that extend across the foam block's bottom side. The supports can be manufactured with the foam block or may be provided in a kit or separately sourced. The foam block is rigid enough to support a mattress and is compressible so it has a compressed configuration and an expanded configuration and its bottom side may have channels for the supports. In the compressed configuration, the foundation may be folded into a compact form and vacuum-sealed in a plastic membrane which easies in storage, shipping, and delivery of the foundation. When the foundation is delivered to its place of use, the compressed foundation can be removed from its packaging, allowing the foam block to return to its expanded configuration and placed onto a standard bed frame with the supports providing crosswise support across the frame.
METHOD FOR PREPARING A MATTRESS FOR STORAGE OR TRANSPORT
In a method for preparing a mattress for storage or transport, a mattress is used in which an elastically deformable cushion structure and a support apparatus, adjustable by electric motor and having a dimensionally stable base body, are accommodated in a casing. The support apparatus has at least two support parts that are pivotable relative to one another. The mattress is introduced into an essentially gas-tight wrapping, and the wrapping is sealed essentially gas-tight, and a negative pressure is generated in the wrapping to achieve vacuum-induced compression of the cushion element of the mattress. In the compressed state of the cushion element or during the compression of the cushion structure, the support parts are folded together, and the casing is sealed essentially gas-tight so that the mattress in the compressed and folded-up state forms a compact storage and transport unit.
