A refacing tool includes a feed assembly that holds a first set of cutters positioned for refacing the inner shoulder of a pin or box end of a tubular and a second set of cutters positioned for refacing the outer shoulder of the pin or box end. The axial spacing between the first set of cutters and the second set of cutters is fixed and determined by the geometry of the feed assembly. The refacing tool can simultaneously reface the inner shoulder and the outer shoulder, as well as chamfers.

Said tool comprises a tool body (14) which is rotatable about a tool axis (12) and a chamfer cutting element (24) which is mounted on the tool body (14) such that it is radially displaceable by means of a guide (32). The chamfer cutting element (24) is held in radial direction on the tool body (14) by means of a holding arm (42). The holding arm (42) is elastically flexible in radial direction and is disposed at least partly inside a substantially axially extending groove (56) provided on an outer periphery of the tool body (14). Also presented is an indexable insert (30) for such a cutting tool (10).

Handle apparatus for an industrial machine tool

A handle is coupled to an industrial machine tool, along with a method of operating the industrial machine tool via the handle. The handle comprises a housing, a first switch, and a second switch. The housing includes a first side, a second side, a top end, and a bottom end, the first side facing toward the industrial machine tool and the second side facing away from the industrial machine tool. The first switch actuates a float mode for the industrial machine tool, the float mode being a mode in which movement of a moveable portion of the industrial machine tool is power assisted for an operator of the industrial machine tool. The second switch actuates a machining portion, coupled to the moveable portion of the industrial machine tool, to perform a machining process on a workpiece.

Debris ejection techniques for drilling tools

A debris ejector for a drilling tool is disclosed. In some cases, the ejector may be provided, for example, as part of a tool assembly (e.g., where ejector is coupled with bit, or both a bit and cup). In an example, a tool includes a cup and a drill bit passing through an internal void of the cup. The cutting end of the bit extends out the open end of the cup, while an attachment end of the bit extends out the back of the cup. The tool further includes an ejector within the cup. The ejector spins with the bit and independently of the cup. In one example, the ejector includes ramped or angled wings that eject material within the cup. In another example, the ejector includes tapered wings with straight and/or angled walls that push material out of the cup through one or more holes of the cup.

At least one of the plurality of cutting tools is mounted to the cartridge.
