Mattress with crowned panel
Mattresses and improved fabric covers for providing mattresses that have smooth surfaces. Additionally, methods for manufacturing non-quilted mattress covers and for manufacturing mattresses employing non-quilted mattress covers. The systems and methods described herein include mattress panels that can be manufactured separate from the inner core construction, and laid over the inner core to be fastened in place as a sleeping surface for the mattress. Optionally, these mattress panels can include a layer of fire retardant material, that may be added as a layer of material or that may be incorporated into one or more of the layers, such as a filler layer, in the mattress panel.
BEDDING COMPONENTS INCLUDING A DESICCANT
Bedding components generally include a desiccant applied or infused into a selected bedding component. The desiccant can be microencapsulated, applied as a topical solution, and/or provided within a container including a moisture permeable membrane.
MATTRESS WITH MICROCOIL CELLS
A mattress includes a top face, a bottom face, a pair of opposing sides defining a mattress width there between, a first microcoil support foam layer and a second microcoil support foam layer. The first microcoil support foam layer includes a plurality of first pockets and a plurality of first protrusions, and the second microcoil support foam layer includes a plurality of second pockets and a plurality of second protrusions. A plurality of separate microcoil cells are formed as lines of microcoils having a width of a single microcoil and a length containing sufficient number of microcoils such that the line of microcoils spans the mattress width. Each one of the microcoil cells is disposed between a given second protrusion and first pocket or a given first protrusion and second pocket.

Adjustable Bed with Foundation Spring Support
The disclosure relates to an adjustable bed and foundation thereof, in particular incorporating springs or other support elements into the adjustable bed foundation or frame. The adjustable bed can include one or more foundation spring support sections mounted on or in a mattress support surface of the bed foundation. Spring support sections having different firmness levels in different mattress support sections can provide a varying support level to a user of the adjustable bed foundation combined with a mattress thereon. Spring support sections that are discrete from each other can permit articulation of the corresponding mattress support surface sections without creating bending, elongation, and/or compression stresses which might otherwise cause uneven support from or damage to a continuous spring support element spanning multiple mattress support surface sections.
Mattress assembly and method
A mattress assembly includes a chassis having top and bottom walls and first and second sidewalls that each extend from the top wall to the bottom wall. Inner surfaces of the walls and the sidewalls define an interior cavity. The top and bottom walls each include a first section that is connected to the first sidewall and a second section that is connected to the second sidewall such that the first sections are pivotable relative to the first sidewall and the second sections are pivotable relative to the second sidewall. The first section of the top wall is pivotable relative to the second section of the top wall and the first section of the bottom wall is pivotable relative to the second section of the bottom wall. A spring assembly is configured to be positioned within the interior cavity.

Spring Unit for a Mattress
The present invention is a spring unit for a mattress comprising first and second pocket springs. Each of the first and second pocket springs comprise a coil pocket comprising a pocket and a coil spring disposed in the pocket and a cushion pocket comprising a pocket and a first resilient member disposed in the pocket of the cushion pocket. Each cushion pocket is engaged with and acting only upon the corresponding coil pocket. Substantially the entire side of the pocket of the coil pocket of the first pocket spring is engaged with substantially the entire side of the pocket of the coil pocket of the second pocket spring. Each cushion pocket is free standing and not connected with each other thereby creating a pumping action upon depression of the first pocket spring and/or the second pocket spring that produces circulation of air within the mattress.
MATTRESS
Disclosed is a mattress for providing comfort and support for an individual, and in particular, to a mattress structured to have independent sections that are configured to support an individual in a manner that supports the individual's body to improve comfort and avoid spinal misalignment issues from developing. In one aspect of the invention there is provided a mattress for supporting an individual thereon, the mattress comprising: at least two sections configured to support different regions of a body of the individual, at least one of the at least two sections having a different firmness to the other sections; wherein the at least two sections are independently configured such that they are isolated from each other both internally and externally.
