Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to a convertible children's high chair and a booster seat. According to various embodiments, the convertible high chair generally comprises a first child seat supported above a floor by a high chair frame, and a booster seat configured for being removably coupled to first child seat. The booster seat is configured such that, when detached from the high chair's first child seat, it can be used apart from the high chair (e.g., secured to the seating surface of a standard chair or another generally flat support surface). In certain embodiments, the booster seat includes a base surface configured to stably support the second child seat on a separate support surface (e.g., without the need to be attached to or mounted on a separate base or support member).

A modular cradle system for children's gear includes a modular cradle assembly having a hinge frame, coupling hubs extending from the hinge frame, and a child receiving receptacle connectable with the hinge frame. A height adjustable bassinet with two height adjustable columns and associated assist cylinders. The bassinet includes a height adjustment assembly to operate the assist cylinders from manual actuators, such as paddles, located approximately in four corners of the bassinet support surface. The height adjustment system may include a pair of paddle assemblies mounted under the bassinet support surface. The paddle assemblies may be coupled to the assist cylinder by a dual linkage that translates pivotal movement of any individual paddle into movement sufficient to simultaneously actuate both assist cylinders. The seat is rotatable between a first and a second position, the first position allowing a child to sit in contact with the seating surface, and the second position being suitable to receive installation of a removable child seat over the seat while disabling seating of a child on the seating surface, the seating surface moving around the support platform when the seat rotates relative to the standing frame, the second position of the seat uncovering the support platform so that a removable child seat is installable over the seat at least partially supported in contact with the support platform. A youth seat footrest is rotatably disposed on a youth seat bottom. A youth seat backrest is rotatably disposed on the youth seat bottom and opposite to the youth seat footrest. A youth seat reclining mechanism is located inside the youth seat bottom to rotate the youth seat footrest via rotation of the youth seat backrest simultaneously driven by reclining of the booster seat backrest.
