A working machine may include: an output shaft; a rotary blade attached to the output shaft; a prime mover configured to rotate the output shaft; a housing that houses the prime mover and rotatably supports the output shaft; and a blade cover attached to the housing. The sidewall of the blade cover may include a first stopper and a second stopper. The facing portion of the housing may include a first stopper receiver and a second stopper receiver. When the blade cover is pivoted in a first pivot direction of the blade cover, the first stopper may contact the first stopper receiver. When the blade cover is further pivoted in the first pivot direction from a state where the first stopper is in contact with the first stopper receiver, the second stopper may contact the second stopper receiver.

Belt tensioning apparatus for material removal machines

Apparatus, systems, and/or methods for adjusting belt tension in a material removal machine are disclosed. In some examples, the material removal machine includes a material removal tool secured on a spindle. A spindle pulley may be secured to the spindle, such that rotation of the spindle pulley causes the material removal tool to be rotated via the spindle. The material removal machine may further include a movable hub that retains the spindle, such that movement of the hub translated into movement of the spindle. Because the spindle pulley is securely attached to the spindle, movement of the hub may translate into movement of the spindle pulley. This movement of the spindle pulley may change a distance between the spindle pulley and an actuator pulley, thereby changing the tension in a belt connecting the spindle pulley and the actuator pulley.

An electric working machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a motor; a driver to drive the motor; a first control circuit; and a second control circuit. The first control circuit controls the driver such that the motor rotates in a set rotation direction. The second control circuit is provided separately from the first control circuit. The second control circuit detects a rotation direction of the motor and performs an abnormality handling process to stop rotation of the motor in response to a situation where the detected rotation direction is reverse to the set rotation direction.

TEMPERATURE MONITORING AND INDICATOR SYSTEM FOR A CAST SAW

A power tool, such as a cast saw is disclosed. The cast saw is equipped with at least one thermocouple and and/or at least one infrared detector that measure the temperature of the cutting blade on the cast saw or the area in the cast immediately surrounding the cutting blade. The cast saw is also equipped with at least one LED that can alert a user of the cast saw when blade or the area in the cast immediately surrounding the blade is approaching or has reached a temperature that may burn a patient. Also disclosed is a shroud for the cutting blade of the cast saw. The shroud not only surrounds at least part of the blade but also houses the thermocouple or infrared detector and the LEDs(s). A method of operating the cast saw to cut a cast off of a patient is also disclosed.
