Dustless one-stroke cut-through saw
A saw system capable of cutting through a workpiece in one stroke is provided. The saw system includes a base, a turntable mounted on the base for rotation about a vertical axis, a support structure defining a cutting axis and fixedly attached to the turntable, and an elongated blade including a cutting edge. The turntable has a substantially planar support surface for supporting a workpiece. The support structure includes a pair of parallel sliding members, wherein the sliding members are disposed in a direction substantially parallel to the cutting axis. The elongated blade is spaced apart from the sliding members and is movable along the sliding members. The cutting edge includes a proximal end and a distal end, wherein an angle between an imaginary line connecting the distal end of the cutting edge to the proximal end thereof and its projection onto the turntable is an acute angle.
Machining guide assemblies and methods relating thereto
Machining guides and methods relating thereto are described. One example of the machining guide, according to the present arrangement, includes: (i) two or more frames, each of which includes(a) a first guide member including first multiple plates; (b) a second guide member including second multiple plates; and (c) a pivoting connection pivotably connecting the first guide member and the second guide member, and wherein, during an operative state of the machining guide, one or both of the first and the second guide members of two or more of the frames pivot about the pivoting connection to allow two or more of the frames to be disposed around the workpiece; and (ii) one or more spacer plates being disposed between each of the frames and define a kerf between each of the frames such that, during the operative state of the machining guide, a tool through the kerf is capable of machining the workpiece.
Alignment tool, cutting arrangement and method for treatment of a workpiece
A method for treatment using a cutting arrangement includes providing a rotor blade of a wind turbine and attaching an alignment tool to the rotor blade. The alignment tool includes at least one fixation means for fixing the alignment tool to proximate a trailing edge of the rotor blade that is a structure attachable to a first surface and a second opposing surface of the rotor blade. The alignment tool further includes at least one guiding structure operably connected to the fixation means that is configured to embrace the leading edge of the rotor blade and includes at least one groove or at least one edge that provides guidance for a cutting edge of a cutting apparatus. The method includes treating the rotor blade using the cutting apparatus, in which the cutting edge of the cutting apparatus is guided by the at least one guiding structure of the alignment tool.
Electric power tool and method for manufacturing the same
A covering member made of a resin is integrally molded with a sensor substrate of a brushless motor in a circular saw by low-temperature, low-pressure injection molding. The covering member covers rotation detecting elements, a thermistor, resistors, and connecting portions (terminals) of lead wires that serve as electrically conductive portions conducting electric currents.

Reciprocating tool having orbit function
A reciprocating power tool may include a driving system driving a reciprocating mechanism. A selection mechanism provides for selection of a linear mode of operation or at least one orbital mode of operation. Motion of a reciprocating shaft of the reciprocating mechanism may be guided by a guide bracket fixed in the housing and an orbit bushing movably coupled in the housing. The guide bracket may include at least one guide slot having a contoured guide surface that guides the motion of the corresponding end portion of the reciprocating shaft. The contoured guide surface may guide the corresponding end portion of the reciprocating shaft in a corresponding direction relative to the longitudinal centerline of the at least one guide slot during an out stroke and a return stroke of the reciprocating stroke.
SHOE ACCESSORY FOR A SAW
A band saw kit including a band saw and an angle guide. The band saw includes at least one wheel for supporting a saw blade, a motor operable to drive the blade to cut a workpiece, a frame, and a workpiece bumper coupled to the frame. The workpiece bumper includes a slot configured to receive the blade, a first engaging surface defining a first plane, and is configured to be generally perpendicular to the blade as the blade passes through the slot. An angle guide is configured to be coupled to the workpiece bumper and includes a second engaging surface for engaging a workpiece. The second engaging surface defines a second plane. A cut angle is defined by an angle between the second plane and the first plane when the angle guide is coupled to the workpiece bumper.
