CUTTING SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
In some embodiments, a cutting system including a movable blade or a reciprocating blade operably coupled to a motor is disclosed, wherein the cutting system comprises a diverting feature. In some embodiments, a diverter proximity relative to the movable blade or reciprocating blade is selected to facilitate diversion of a material during cutting. In at least one embodiment, the movable blade may be movable blade for an oscillating tool. A cutting system according to the present invention may be coupled to a container, for example, a residential trash container or a residential recycling container.
ACCESSORY FOR AN OSCILLATING POWER TOOL
An accessory for use with an oscillating power tool. The accessory includes an attachment portion including a mounting aperture arrangement configured to couple with the oscillating power tool. The accessory also includes a body extending away from the attachment portion in a longitudinal direction defining a longitudinal axis, a distal end portion including a generally planar surface and a cutting edge configured to perform a material-removing operation, and a conduit extending from proximate the cutting edge towards the attachment portion. The conduit is configured to convey material removed during the material-removing operation towards a vacuum system.
Work tool
A work tool includes a housing, a spindle, a clamp shaft, a biasing member, an operation member, a motion-converting mechanism and a pushing-down member. The spindle is supported to be rotatable around a driving axis. The clamp shaft is movable in the up-down direction relative to the spindle. The biasing member is configured to bias the clamp shaft upward relative to the spindle so as to apply to the clamp shaft a clamping force for clamping a tool accessory between a head part of the clamp shaft and a lower end portion of the spindle. The motion-converting mechanism is configured to move the pushing-down member in the up-down direction along with turning of the operation member around the driving axis. The pushing-down member is configured to be moved downward so as to push the tool accessory downward when the operation member is turned in a first direction.
MULTIPLE THICKNESS SAW BLADE FOR PRECISION ORTHOPEDIC CUTS
A saw blade for use in an orthopedic procedure may have multiple regions of different thickness across the length of the saw blade. The saw blade may include at least one region that is comparatively thicker. The saw blade may also include at least one region that is comparatively thinner and position closer to an end of the saw blade having cutting teeth. In some configurations, the thicker region of the saw blade is an intermediate region located between two comparatively thinner regions. The intermediate thicker region can interface with a slot of a cutting guide while the comparatively thinner regions can be sides for engaging with a driver and controlling the kerf width of a bone cut made using the saw blade, respectively.
Saw Tool
The disclosure relates to a saw tool for use with a multifunctional machine tool which can be driven in oscillation. The saw tool has at least one main axis, at least one main body, and at least one cutting arm arranged on the main body transversely to the main axis, the cutting arm having a first cutting region and a second cutting region starting from the main axis in a direction pointing away from the main body and running at least substantially perpendicular to the main axis, said cutting regions arranged one behind the other, and directly adjacent to each other. The second cutting region is arranged on the first cutting region, on a side of the first cutting region furthest from the main body, and has a greater mass than the first cutting region.
ADAPTER ASSEMBLY FOR SURGICAL CUTTING TOOL
An adapter apparatus for a cable saw or similar cutting implement includes a hub adapter that may detachably engage a mounting hub of a power tool. A pair of lateral arms extend outward on opposing sides of the hub adapter to a connection interface of the cable saw. The connection interface engages opposing wire ends of the cable saw and provides for a cutting operation in response to an oscillating motion of the power tool.
Machining Tool, In Particular Oscillating Machining Tool
An oscillating working tool includes a main body with a coupling interface in a receiving region of the main body that is different from a working region of the main body. The at least one coupling interface is configured to couple to a tool receiver of a power tool. The working tool further includes a further coupling interface, arranged in the receiving region and configured to couple to a further tool receiver, different from the tool receiver, of a further power tool. The coupling interface and the further coupling interface realize at least two different coupling planes, in each of which at least one axial securing element of the at least one coupling interface and/or of the further coupling interface is arranged.
Power tool
A power tool includes a housing, a spindle, a clamp shaft, a first biasing member, an engagement member, a first holding member, a manually operable member and a push-down member. The first biasing member biases the clamp shaft upward. The first holding member holds the engagement member to be movable between a first position and a second position in the up-down direction relative to the first holding member. The manually operable member moves a first one of the engagement member and the first holding member downward in response to a manual unclamping operation. The engagement member moves from the first position to the second position to be movable in the radial direction in response to the manual unclamping operation. The first one of the engagement member and the first holding member pushes down a tool accessory via the push-down member while the first one is moving downward.
Suction device
A suction device for a handheld power tool that is adapted to be driven in oscillation and that is equipped with a gearbox extension housing for mounting of the suction device. The suction device having a body mounted on the gearbox extension housing of the handheld power tool via a mounting section and an air duct formed in the body, the air duct being delimited at one end by an air inlet and at an other end by an air outlet on which a suction apparatus or a dust exhauster is adapted to be detachably mounted. The mounting section of the body is formed essentially as a hollow cylinder and extends between a first plane and a second plane, which are substantially parallel.
OSCILLATING TOOL DRYWALL BLADE
An oscillating blade including a shank having a tool mounting end and a blade end, the shank defining a longitudinal shank axis extending from an oscillation axis of the tool mounting end, the longitudinal shank axis defining a longitudinal direction. The oscillating blade also includes a first shank extension extending from the blade end in a first lateral direction and having a first cutting edge directed in a first cutting direction, and a second shank extension extending from the blade end in a second lateral direction and having a second cutting edge directed in a second cutting direction. The oscillating blade also includes a shaving edge disposed on the blade end. The first shank extension is spaced from the second shank extension in the longitudinal direction, and the shaving edge is at least partially disposed between the first shank extension and the second shank extension in the longitudinal direction.
