Open fronted cabinet

The present invention relates to an open fronted food storage cabinet. The cabinet has a top, rear, base and opposed sides. The top, rear, base and opposing sides define an interior space of the cabinet which is accessible through an opening to the front of the cabinet. The opening is defined between edges of the top, base and opposing sides of the cabinet. The cabinet includes an interior chassis structure comprised of a base panel, a rear panel and a top panel which are mechanically connected to one another. The base, rear and top panels are each formed from a structural sandwich composite material having thermal insulation properties. The rear panel includes an aperture to which a mechanism operable to alter the temperature within interior space of the cabinet is mounted.

Integrated banana transport system

Integrated banana transport system from the banana plantation to the retail point of sale. The system consists of twelve baskets and a wagon. A bunch of bananas is placed on each basket. The basket can be used at all stages of harvesting, washing, processing, storage, transportation and final disposal. The contact with the bananas, which causes an aesthetic degradation of the product, is minimized. The bunch of bananas is placed on the basket. The upper part of the stalk is nailed on the nail (1) of the hanger (2), while the lower part is placed on the embossed area of the basket's base (3). Beams are placed at the corners of the wagon's base where the rack is attached at the desired height. Six baskets are placed at the bottom of the wagon's base and six on the rack. The basket and the wagon can be assembled and disassembled by hand without any need of tools. The disassembled system occupies minimal space, making less expensive the return to the plantation.

SHELVING SYSTEM CONSTRUCTED USING BONDING

A monolithic display device for the point-of-sale display of produce manufactured out of a closed cell foam material and of solid construction, with a plurality of pockets formed into the top surface of the device and arranged in horizontal rows separated by upwardly extending horizontal dividing members, with upwardly extending intermediate dividing members separating adjacent pockets within each row. The display device is used in a retail setting by first being placed onto a table or other means of support, and then having produce placed onto the top surface within the pockets. The horizontal dividing members and the intermediate dividing members hold the produce in place on the device, while the foam construction of the device protects the produce from damage. In some embodiments different sized pockets are formed into the lower surface of the device so that the device can be used with different sized produce.

Sealed transparent liquid crystal display assembly

A sealed, transparent liquid crystal display (LCD) assembly is disclosed. The assembly preferably contains a front and a rear glass panel. The assembly also preferably has a spacer element that is positioned around a perimeter of, and sandwiched between, the front and rear glass panels, thereby providing a gaseous seal. The LCD panel is positioned between the front and rear glass panels. In an exemplary embodiment, a two way light guide would be used within the assembly.

To-go cubby unit

A cubby unit includes a plurality of cubbies and one or more processing circuits. Each of the plurality of cubbies includes a cubby housing defining an internal compartment, a light disposed within the internal compartment, and a door. The door facilitates accessing the internal compartment of the cubby housing. At least a portion of the door is transparent. The one or more processing circuits are configured to to acquire access information, determine whether the access information is associated with a respective order within a respective cubby of the plurality of cubbies, and activate the light of the respective cubby in response to the access information being associated with the respective order such that light emitted by the light shines through the portion of the door that is transparent of the respective cubby to indicate in which one of the plurality of cubbies the respective order is located.
