Wrought root blade manufacture methods
A method for manufacturing a blade, the method includes casting a nickel alloy blade precursor having an airfoil and a root. The airfoil and the root are solution heat treating differently from each other. After the solution heat treating, the root is wrought processed. After the wrought processing, an exterior of the root is machined.
Compressible and expandable blade for a fluid pump
The invention relates to a compressible and expandable blade (2) for the rotor of a fluid pump (30) having at least two lamellae (3, 4, 5) which are disposed adjacently, are pivo table respectively relative to an axis of rotation (Ia) of the rotor and moveable relative to each other, and abut against each other in the expanded state of the blade such that they form together a continuous blade surface.

Machining position correcting device and electrochemical machining device
A machining position correcting device is configured to be applied to an electrochemical machining device configured to make an electrolyte flow out of a distal end part of an electrode bar extending along an axis while rotating the electrode bar about the axis to electrochemically machine a material to be machined in a range from the distal end part of the electrode bar. The machining position correcting device includes a position detector configured to detect a rotational position of a feature point of the electrode bar.
Integrated impeller manufacturing method
A method of manufacturing an integrated impeller has a first shroud forming a bottom portion, a second shroud forming a lid portion, a hub formed at the center portion of the first shroud, and blades that section a flow path which is formed between the first shroud and the second shroud and through which a fluid flows. This method includes forming a flow path on the inner circumferential side of the impeller; and forming a flow path on the outer circumferential side of the impeller. The step of forming the flow path on the outer circumferential side of the impeller has the steps of: while rotating the linear electrode having a tip-end part and a base-end part about a longitudinal direction axis thereof, applying electric discharge machining to the first shroud; applying electric discharge machining to the second shroud; and applying electric discharge machining to the blade.

METHOD FOR MACHINING A BLADE AND A BLADE FOR A TURBOMACHINE
The invention refers to a method for machining a blade and a blade for a turbomachine comprising a shroud which is positioned on a tip side of the blade. The shroud has an outer surface with at least one circumferential fin arranged thereon, whereby at least one section of the outer surface beside the at least one fin is processed in at least two manufacturing steps. At least one first section of the outer surface is processed to have a first shape and at least one second section of the outer surface is processed to have a second shape.

ROTOR ASSEMBLY WITH BLADE SEALING TAB
A blade for mounting on a rotor disc of a gas turbine engine includes platform segments between a airfoil and blade root and extending laterally from the blade, the platform segment having a curved profile defining a platform recess on a root side of the platform segment, the recess configured to cooperate with recesses of adjacent blades to define a blade pocket. A recessed region is defined in a rear surface of the blade root, and is configured to receive a complementary projection of the rotor disc upon mounting the blade on the rotor disc. The recessed region has a surface configured to abut a corresponding surface on the projection of the rotor disc to form a face seal. Methods of manufacturing such a rotor disc and of sealing a circumferential joint between such blades and the rotor disc are also disclosed.
