CONTROLLER FOR WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINE
A controller for a wire electrical discharge machine includes: an abnormality location calculating unit that calculates an abnormality location at a time when an abnormality of the wire electrode has occurred on a wire running path; a solution information storage unit that stores abnormality locations and solution information in association with each other; a priority setting unit that sets a degree of priority for each of the abnormality locations according to a history of the abnormality location; and a display control unit that causes a display unit to display the solution information corresponding to each of the abnormality locations by taking the degree of priority into account.
Wire electrical discharge machine
A wire electrical discharge machine for detecting an end face of an object, configured so that when a contact detection movement is started and if contact between the wire electrode and the workpiece is detected, positions in which the contact between the wire electrode and the workpiece is detected are stored as contact detection positions and that when a non-contact detection movement is then started and if non-contact between the wire electrode and the workpiece is detected, positions in which the non-contact between the wire electrode and the workpiece is detected are stored as non-contact detection positions. When it is determined whether or not a set number of times of execution is reached and if the set number of times of execution is reached, a reference position is obtained by adding the radius of the wire electrode and a clearance of the wire guide to an end face determination position.
Wire electric discharge machine having function of moving from arbitrary retreat position in electric discharge state and returning to halt position
Electric discharge machining is halted during machining program operation, and a position of the machining halt point is stored. A wire electrode is retreated from the machining halt point to an arbitrary position in which a short-circuit with a workpiece is removed (retreat position), by interrupt operation in which axis movement is performed manually. Then, a return is made from the retreat position to the machining halt point while electric discharge machining is performed, machining program operation is started from the machining halt point, and electric discharge machining is restarted.
Method for drilling a hole in a part made of electroconductive material
A method for electrical discharge drilling of a hole in a part made of electroconductive material, in particular for an aircraft turbomachine, the method using an electrical discharge machine including a head that can move relative to the part and has a consumable EDM electrode, which is of elongated shape and is translationally moved along its elongation axis, the method including the following steps: a) advancing the EDM electrode towards the part in order to drill a hole in the part; and b) retracting the EDM electrode and removing the EDM electrode from the hole, wherein it further includes the following steps: c) laterally moving the head; d) advancing the EDM electrode towards the part in order to scan for the part; e) computing the effective depth of the hole drilled in step a).
METHOD FOR CORRECTING PERPENDICULARITY OF ELECTRODE ROD FOR SUPER-DRILL DISCHARGE MACHINE
Provided is a method for correcting perpendicularity of an electrode rod for a super-drill discharge machine. The method is performed using a block with a truncated cone-shaped detection cavity and includes: finding a first center point of a circle on a first XY plane within the detection cavity; moving a tip of the electrode rod to the first center point; moving the electrode rod by a predetermined length (H) in a longitudinal direction thereof such that the tip of the electrode is disposed on a second XY plane; finding a second center point of a circle on the second XY plane; and calculating an inclination angle of the electrode rod by using a trigonometric function of a triangle in which the hypotenuse thereof is the predetermined length (H) and the adjacent side thereof is a distance from the tip of the electrode rod to the second center point on the second XY plane.
WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINE AND MEASURING METHOD
A wire electrical discharge machine includes: a supporting member for relatively moving a wire electrode relative to a measurement target; servomotors for moving the supporting member; a setting changer for changing the setting of a directive speed; and a motor controller that controls the servomotors in performing move-and-contact detection for detecting contact between the wire electrode and the measurement target by moving the two relative to each other, so that the wire electrode is moved relative to the measurement target based on the directive speed changed and specified by the setting changer.
WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINE
A wire electrical discharge machine includes: a travelling route formed of multiple divisional regions, through which a wire electrode is fed by an auto wire feeding mechanism; and a memory storing failure evaluation reference data on the auto wire feeding for every divisional region. The wire electrical discharge machine detects failure of the auto wire feeding and locate the tip position of the wire electrode at the time of failure and causes a controller to determine whether to perform or stop retry of the auto wire feeding based on the located tip position and the failure evaluation reference data for every divisional region.
WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINE AND WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING METHOD
A wire electrical discharge machine includes: a mounting table having a placement plane on which a workpiece can be placed; a first guide portion and a second guide portion for stretching a wire electrode therebetween. The first guide portion is integrally equipped with a probe. The relative position in the placement plane between the probe detecting its abutment with the workpiece and the first guide portion before moving the relative position between the first guide portion and the second guide portion is stored as an offset. This offset is corrected based on the tilt information indicating the tilt state of the workpiece relative to the placement plane. Thus, it is possible to obtain the corrected offset in accordance with the tilt state of the workpiece after changing the relative position between the first guide portion and the second guide portion.
WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINE AND WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING METHOD
A wire electrical discharge machine obtains position error information indicating a position error in a planar direction in a workpiece placed on a mounting table after relative positions between a first guide unit and a second guide unit are changed, and calculates a position of the workpiece with the corrected position error in the planar direction in a state where a wire electrode is inclined according to an inclined state of the workpiece by using this position error information.
