LASER DEVICE AND ITS USE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING A GLASS SHEET
A mobile laser device for processing glass sheets installed in an object, preferably in a vehicle, preferably in a train, or in a structure work, preferably in a building, and the use of the laser device and a method for processing a glass sheet.
HANDPIECE ASSEMBLY FOR LASER TREATMENT DEVICE
Embodiments of the invention include a handpiece system including a detachable cable that can receive at least power, and a detachable cable connector, where the detachable cable connector and detachable cable are reversibly attachable to each other. In some embodiments, the system includes an interchangeable laser module, where the laser module and detachable cable connector are reversibly attachable to each other. Further, the interchangeable laser module is configured and arranged to receive at least the power via the cable connector when coupled to the cable connector, and to be removed from the detachable cable connector and replaced with another laser module. In some embodiments, the system further includes an interchangeable handpiece which is reversibly attachable to the interchangeable laser module. Further, the interchangeable handpiece is configured and arranged to be removed from the interchangeable laser module and replaced with another interchangeable handpiece.
Laser processing apparatus and method
The invention concerns an apparatus and its use for laser welding. A laser welding apparatus comprise at least one first laser device, each providing at least one first optical feed fiber with a first laser beam; at least one second laser device, each providing at least one second optical feed fiber with a second laser beam; means for generating a composite laser beam comprising a first output laser beam and a second output laser beam for welding a workpiece; wherein the first output laser beam has a circular cross-section and the second output laser beam has an annular shape concentric to the first output laser beam. The second laser device is a fiber laser device or a fiber-coupled laser device. The apparatus is configured to form the second output laser beam at least on the basis of the second laser beam, and the second output laser beam comprises a first wavelength and a second wavelength having difference of at least 10 nanometers, or the second output laser beam has spectrum width of least 10 nanometers.
Laser handheld trimming and welding device
A handheld laser trimming and welding device can include a handheld laser trimming and welding wand and a nozzle. The nozzle can extend from the handheld laser trimming and welding wand to a distal portion, and the nozzle can have an aperture on the distal portion. The distal portion of the nozzle can be configured to optically communicate a laser to the distal portion of the nozzle and fluidically communicate a pressurized gas to the distal portion of the nozzle.
MATERIAL PROCESSING FUNCTIONALITY IN HANDHELD LASER SYSTEM
A nozzle assembly for performing material processing operations with a handheld laser system on a surface of a workpiece. The handheld laser system comprises a laser source configured to generate laser radiation, a handheld device that guides the laser radiation, and an optical fiber coupling the handheld device to the laser source, and the nozzle assembly comprises a nozzle configured to deliver the laser radiation to the surface, and a coupling mechanism that includes a retaining portion formed on an output end of the handheld device, and an engagement portion configured to be releasably attachable to the nozzle and engage with the retaining portion. A rearward ring provides a first initial coupling with the handheld device and an intermediate ring is rotated to provide a final coupling where the nozzle is non movably secured to the handheld device.
ANGLED NOZZLES FOR DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF A LASER BEAM FOR A LASER WELDING TOOL
An angled nozzle for a handheld laser welding torch is disclosed. The nozzle includes a contact edge at a first tip of the nozzle and extending from the nozzle a first distance; and a contact surface along a portion of a length of the nozzle, the contact surface extending from the nozzle a second distance less than the first distance.
