A device configured for a treatment with a laser, including a support transparent for the laser and at least one optoelectronic circuit including at least one optoelectronic component having a three-dimensional semiconductor element covered with an active layer, the three-dimensional semiconductor element including a base bonded to the support, the device including a region absorbing for the laser resting on the support and surrounding the base.
SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING LASER MARKED ELASTOMER COMPONENTS
A system for manufacturing elastomeric components is provided. The system may include a molding station having a mold configured to receive an elastomeric material, form a pad that includes a plurality of untrimmed elastomeric components, and cure the pad. The system may further include an automated marking station comprising a laser and a camera. The automated marking station may be configured to remove the cured pad from the molding station, present the cured pad to the laser to form a mark on each of the untrimmed elastomeric components, and present the cured pad to the camera to capture an image of each mark. A process for manufacturing the elastomeric components is also provided.
TEXTURED SURFACE OF OIL AND GAS EQUIPMENT AND MACHINING METHOD THEREOF
A textured surface of oil and gas equipment includes a first substrate, an antiwear coating, and a second substrate, and further includes a texture, where the texture includes a first texture and/or a second texture; the first substrate and the second substrate are capable of moving relative to each other when operating, the first texture is arranged on a surface of the first substrate that is in contact with the antiwear coating, the second texture is arranged on a surface of the antiwear coating that is in contact with the second substrate. A method for machining the textured surface of oil and gas equipment is provided, which improves various performances of the oil and gas equipment such as antifriction, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance by combining a coating with a texture, so as to prolong the service life of the oil and gas equipment, increase oil and gas production efficiency.
MAGNETOSTRICTIVE TORQUE SENSOR SHAFT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Provided are a magnetostrictive torque sensor shaft with excellent processing accuracy and stability of quality and a preferred method for manufacturing the shaft. The magnetostrictive torque sensor shaft has an amorphous thermal spray coating on the surface of a substrate made of a metal material, the amorphous thermal spray coating having a magnetostrictive property and being formed by thermal spraying, and the substrate surface being subjected to surface roughening by laser irradiation. The laser irradiation is performed in the surface roughening process prior to the amorphous thermal spraying and in pattern formation process after the thermal spraying.
Method for controlling a fibre drawing facility
The present invention concerns a method of determination of specific points of a rotary fibre forming spinner wheel (10) used in a fibre forming device (1), said method comprising the following steps: obtaining measurements of temperatures of the fibre forming spinner wheel obtained by means of a temperature measuring device (40) adapted to take measurements of temperatures of the spinner wheel at a plurality of angular positions of said measuring device in order to supply data to at least one calculation unit (30, 45) that constructs a curve representing the temperature as a function of the angular position of a temperature measuring device; processing said measurements by effecting a calculation of the second derivative of the curve of the temperature as a function of the angular position by means of a calculation unit (30); searching for at least one specific point for which the second derivative satisfies a predefined condition.
Automatically generating apparel collection imagery
A system automatically generates apparel collection imagery from user-provided imagery. The user-provided imagery includes images of people wearing one or more garments. The system uses segmenting analysis to analyze the user-provided image to identify locations of the garment. From the locations of the garments, the system can determine which garments from an apparel collection can be used to replace those in the user-provided imagery. The system uses pose estimation on the user-provided imagery and modifies a preview image of a replacement garment from the collection. This modified replacement garment image is used to replace the garment in the user-provided imagery.
