The invention relates to a coolant supply device of a machining device to be supplied with a fluid coolant, particularly with water, for example a welding arrangement (2) or a welding robot etc., the region or tool to be cooled, for example a welding cap, being incorporated into an open or closed coolant circuit which has an inflow (4) and an outflow (5), and said device comprising a conveyor device that operates in the coolant circuit and conveys the coolant within said coolant circuit, and a control device (8) for deactivating said conveyor device and/or closing the inflow (4) and/or outflow (5) and evacuating said inflow (4) and/or outflow (5) such that, in the region of the tool being cooled, an at least negligible level of negative pressure prevails in the inflow line (9) and/or in the outflow line (12).

LASER MARKING SYSTEM
20210291573 · 2021-09-23 ·

A laser marking system for marking a product comprising a laser source for providing a laser beam, a marking head for projecting the laser beam on to the product, a housing comprising an extraction device configured to generate a flow of extraction fluid for extracting matter generated by an interaction between the laser beam and the product, and a controller for controlling the laser source and the marking head. The laser marking system further comprises an umbilical assembly connecting the housing to the marking head.

Wire Feeder

A wire feeder includes an exterior housing and in interior housing that creates an interstitial spaced that is disposed between the exterior and interior housing. This housing structure reduces weight of the wire feeder while maintaining the structural rigidness required of a wire feeder. This housing structure also promotes improved cooling features for the wire feeder and the components disposed within the wire feeder. The exterior housing may be constructed of a materials that reduces the likelihood of being damaged. The wire feeder may be further equipped with a strain relief device for the incoming supply cables, and an interchangeable cable connector. The wire feeder may also be equipped with removable wire guides for the wire feeder mechanism that are toolless. The wire feeder may be equipped with accessory storage and attachment features, as well as a cost reduced repositionable control panel.

Cooling for inverter-based engine-driven welding-type power supply
11084115 · 2021-08-10 · ·

A welder-generator comprising an engine operatively coupled to a generator, weld circuitry, and a cooling system. The generator is configured to produce an electrical signal. The weld circuitry includes inverter circuitry configured to control characteristics of the electrical signal. A cooling system is configured to substantially block heat generated by operation of the engine from being transmitted to the weld circuitry.

Method of manufacturing mold

A method of manufacturing a mold includes the processes of: arranging a channel member in a recessed groove formed on a surface of a mold body; irradiating an opening part of the recessed groove with a first laser, thereby performing a first build-up welding on a part in the vicinity of the opening part of the recessed groove; and irradiating a region on a surface of the mold body including a region where the first build-up welding has been performed with a second laser, thereby performing a second build-up welding on a region on the surface of the mold body including the region where the first build-up welding has been performed.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WELDING WORKPIECES OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

A welding block for a welding system secures together first and second components of a workpiece for a motor vehicle to reduce distortion of the first and second components during a welding process. The welding block includes a jig mechanism that has a proximal surface for receiving a load from an arm of the welding system. The jig mechanism further includes a distal surface for engaging the first component and securing the first and second components to one another during the welding process. The jig mechanism defines a passage, such that heat flows from the distal surface to a coolant flowing through the passage. The welding block further includes a sensor coupled to the jig mechanism for detecting a measured variable associated with at least one of the first and second components.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INDUCTION WELDING
20210291292 · 2021-09-23 ·

An induction welder for inductively welding two or more components has an induction coil for applying a magnetic field to a weld site of the two or more components to inductively weld the two or more components together. The induction coil includes a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end is positioned proximate the weld site of the two or more components to inductively weld the two or more components at the weld site.
