SHUTTLE VALVE WITH A CASING ASSEMBLY
A shuttle valve and a method of fabricating a shuttle valve. In one embodiment, a shuttle valve comprises a casing assembly, a sleeve, and a spool slidable within the sleeve. The casing assembly includes an inlet casing having first and second inlet ports, an inlet casing coupling port, and an inlet fluid passageway providing fluid communication between the first inlet port, the second inlet port, and the inlet casing coupling port. The casing assembly further includes an outlet casing having an outlet port, an outlet casing coupling port, and an outlet fluid passageway providing fluid communication between the outlet port and the outlet casing coupling port. The outlet casing coupling port is removably coupled to the inlet casing coupling port. The sleeve is disposed in the inlet fluid passageway of the inlet casing.
Pneumatic servo valve with adjustable drive unit
A servo valve for an actuator comprises a housing, a sleeve provided within the housing comprising an axis (A) and having a plurality of metering holes for communication with a cavity within. A metering rod extends within the cavity for metering flow of pneumatic fluid through the metering holes. The metering rod is coupled to a drive unit for axial movement within the cavity, the drive unit comprising a drive unit housing, a solenoid and an adjustable core. The adjustable core comprises a threaded first portion having a thread and a second portion. The thread of the first portion engages a thread extending through the drive unit housing for adjustment of the relative position of the adjustable core with respect to the solenoid.
Gas exchange valve for an internal combustion engine
A gas exchange valve for an internal combustion engine may include a valve stem and a wear resistance improving functional layer. The valve stem may extend in an axial direction and may transition into a valve plate in the axial direction. The functional layer may include nickel and tungsten. The functional layer may be arranged in a coating area on an outer circumference of the valve stem and may at least partially define a sliding surface.
Unit for the regulation or control of a fluid pressure
A unit (10) for the regulation or control of a fluid pressure, having at least one housing section (13, 14) and a switching film (22) connected to the at least one housing section (13, 14) for switching at pressure differentials relative to an ambient pressure acting on the switching film (22), and for the regulation, release or blocking of a flow of the fluid between an inlet (28) and a discharge (30) for the fluid. The switching film (22) is made out of a polymer material having fluorine and carbon, in particular a thermoplastic having fluorine and carbon. In this arrangement, a hole cross-section (40) of the at least one housing section (13, 14) is closed off by the switching film (22).
Manifold valve body and method for producing the manifold valve body
A valve body (4) for a valve assembly (2) is proposed. The valve body (4) comprises a valve seat (96) which can be accessed by means of an opening (86). A plurality of threaded holes is provided around the opening (86). A plurality of first studs (22a-c) is arranged, in portions, in the threaded holes in order to arrange a valve drive. At least one second stud (24) comprises an electronic data carrier (26) for contactless identification of the valve seat (96). A portion of the second stud (24) is arranged in one of the threaded holes.
Fuel injection valve and method for manufacturing fuel injection valve
A fuel injection valve includes: a coil that is configured to generate a magnetic flux when the coil is energized; a stationary core that is configured to become a passage of the magnetic flux; a movable core that is configured to be attracted to the stationary core when the movable core becomes a passage of the magnetic flux; and a magnetic-flux limiting portion that is displaced from the stationary core in an axial direction while a degree of magnetism of the magnetic-flux limiting portion is lower than a degree of magnetism of the stationary core. A boundary between the stationary core and the magnetic-flux limiting portion is defined as a limiting boundary, and an imaginary extension line, which is formed by extending the limiting boundary toward the movable core, is defined as a boundary extension line. The limiting boundary is tilted relative to the axial direction.
Prosthetic valve with leaflet connectors
A unitary flexible sheet is folded to defines a panel, and first and second tabs. Each of the tabs has an inner layer and an outer layer. First and second prosthetic leaflets are coupled to a tubular frame via the sheet. Each of the leaflets has a respective commissural portion. For each of the commissural portions, a first region of the commissural portion is sandwiched between inner layers of the first and second tabs, and a second region of the commissural portion is disposed flat against the panel. Other embodiments are also described.
Systems and Methods for Manufacturing a Stack Trim
A system may be configured to manufacture a layered cage of a trim. Some embodiments may additively manufacture, in each of a plurality of layers, a plurality of channels each having a cross section such that an amount of the layers satisfies a criterion, the cross section being defined by vertical walls, angular portions that extend from the walls, and a shaped top and/or bottom intersecting with angular portions. And the channels of one of the layers may not intersect with any other channel of any other layer of the cage.
Flow control valve
A valve in which the flow control element includes a fixed disk and a rotatable disk, and a motor operable to rotate the rotatable disk. The motor is disposed in the bore of the valve, aligned with the long axis of the valve body and the axis of rotation of the rotatable disk.
Modular Valve Assembly and Methods of Making the Same
A method of making a modular valve assembly. A first housing member and a second housing member are provided, and the first housing member is joined to the second housing member to form a unitary housing. A valve component opening is formed in the unitary housing, and the valve component opening is sized to receive a valve component. An inlet passageway is formed in the unitary housing. The inlet passageway communicates that the valve component opening. An outlet passageway is formed in the unitary housing. The outlet passageway communicates with the valve. component opening. A valve component is placed in the valve component opening.
