11491551 · 2022-11-08 · ·

A damping apparatus is provided for damping vibrations of a tool-holding apparatus during machining of a workpiece. The damping apparatus comprises a damping body having two ends on which a respective damping device is arranged, which comprises a bearing pin rigidly connected to the damping body and a bearing bush that surrounds the bearing pin in the circumferential direction. An annular space filled with a damping fluid is arranged between the bearing pin and the bearing bush, which annular space is sealed in the axial direction by two elastically deformable sealing rings. The two sealing rings each comprise first and second abutment regions as well as a resilient intermediate region arranged therebetween. The first abutment region is bonded to the bearing pin and the second abutment region is bonded to the bearing bush. The intermediate region is elastically deformable relative to the bearing pin and the bearing bush.

The present disclosure provides a spindle structure including a base, a spindle, a sliding member, a restoring mechanism, and a restriction member. The spindle is rotatably received in the base and forms a receiving room. An end of the receiving room is a blind end communicating exterior via a gas channel. The sliding member is slidably received in the receiving room, and two ends thereof are a piston and a driving portion respectively. A gas cavity is defined between the piston and the blind end. The sliding member tends to move toward the blind end due to the restoring mechanism. The restriction member is connected to the driving portion and radially deforms when the sliding member slides so as to fix or to release the tool-holder. The sliding member slides outward when the gas cavity is injected with gas via the gas channel.

Spindle device

A spindle device is mountable with a tool holder, and includes a rotating spindle rotatably mounted to a spindle main body and extending axially to have an axial end surface. A contactless power transmission module is disposed on a flange end surface of the spindle main body and an outer peripheral wall of the rotating spindle for supplying power. An electrically connecting module includes two conductive units each disposed in the rotating spindle and electrically connected with the power transmission module. Each conductive unit has an electrically conductive post extending axially and exposed from the axial end surface for conducting the power to the tool holder.
