MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes an imaging portion for imaging a tool in an imaging area, a tool holding unit capable of holding the tool in the imaging area, a shutter provided between a machining area and the imaging area, and being movable between an open state and a closed state, a cover for covering a light-receiving surface of the imaging portion, and a purge mechanism for performing purge by causing fluid to flow between a light-receiving surface of the imaging portion and the cover. (i) After the purge by the purge mechanism is performed, the machine tool (ii) moves the shutter, and (iii) moves the cover after start of moving of the shutter.
Drive device and spin window having said drive device
The invention relates to a drive device (1) having an annular stator unit (10), an annular rotor unit (30) and a base plate (50). The stator unit (10) has at least three coils (11) having coil cores (12) and coil bobbins (13). The rotor unit (30) has a bearing unit (31), the coils (11) forming a receiving space (14) in the stator unit (10). According to the invention, the coil cores (12) and the bearing unit (31) stand on the base plate (50). The invention also relates to a spin window (100) having such a drive device (1), a pane (110) being arranged on the rotor unit (30).
Washing nozzle for machine tool and machine tool therein
The washing nozzle for washing an inside of the machine tool with fluid includes a base portion having a tubular passage inside thereof, a supply port through the tubular passage, and a rotary member rotatable about an axis parallel to a surface on which the base portion is mounted, the rotary member having inside thereof a nozzle jet port and a nozzle flow passage allowing communication between the tubular passage and the nozzle jet port, wherein the jet port is formed so that fluid jetted from the jet port of the rotary member hits the surface on which the base portion is mounted and the jet of the fluid causes the rotary member to rotate about the parallel axis.
MACHINE DEBRIS CLEAN OUT SYSTEM
An apparatus for removing debris from under a machining location comprises a collection surface located below the machining location having a transition portion laterally offset from the machining location and a fluid discharge positioned above the transition portion adapted to periodically discharge a fluid therefrom so as to be guided by the transition portion across the collection surface to sweep the debris towards a collection point.
RATCHETING QUICK-ADJUST DRILLING JIG
A quick adjust ratcheting pocket hole jig is presented. The pocket hole jig has a base with a removable upright connected thereto. A guide assembly is slidably received within the upright. Removable and replaceable side supports are connected to the base by way of a dove tail joint. Removable and replaceable adjustable stops are connected to the base by way of key holes. A clamp assembly is connected to the base having a handle portion and a clamp follower. The clamp follower has a ratcheting mechanism and a compressible plunger assembly. The clamp follower can quickly be adjusted using a button on the clamp follower that disengages the ratcheting member such that it can be quickly adjusted. When the handle is operated, it draws the clamp follower towards the upright and guide assembly compressing the spring loaded plunger assembly thereby quickly and tightly and adjustably holding a workpiece therebetween.
CHIP EVACUATOR TOOL
A chip evacuator tool includes at least one hook member configured to grab and remove chips from a machined part. The chip evacuator tool is attached to and rotates with a spindle of a machine tool, which is controlled using a computer of a CNC machine. In operation the location of the chip evacuator tool remains stationary while both the chip evacuator tool and the machined part rotate in the same direction, resulting in efficient removal of chips from the machined part.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes a spindle configured to hold a tool, a tool magazine configured to hold a plurality of tools and to exchange the tools with the spindle, and a cleaning mechanism configured to remove adhering objects adhered to the tool magazine by spraying fluid to the tool magazine.
Method for removing contamination from a chuck surface
A method for decontaminating support surfaces of a wafer chuck, such as a wafer chuck, entails lightly passing a treatment tool having a nominally flat contacting surface over the regions of the chuck where contaminants are to be removed. The treatment tool and the chuck surface may have about the same hardness. The treatment tool may be minimally constrained so that it may conform to the surface being processed. When the treatment tool is contacted to a flat surface, the locust of contact may be in the form of a circle, ring or annulus. At higher application pressures, the treatment tool will abrade the chuck, which here is to be avoided, or at least minimized. Thus, the instant inventors have discovered that the same treatment tool that is used to engineer the elevation or profile of the surface, and its roughness, at lower application pressures can be used to remove grinding debris and other contaminants from the surface.
Method of Controlling Transport Vehicles for Transporting Sliver Cans in a Spinning Mill and a Transport Vehicle for Performing the Method
The invention relates to method of controlling a transport vehicle for transporting exactly one sliver can (2) in a spinning mill between a filling station (3) for depositing a sliver into cans (2) and working positions of the cans (2) at workstations of the spinning machines (4), which ensures supplying the spinning machines with full cans (2) with a sliver. A request for can (2) replacement at the respective workstation of the spinning machine (4) is generated on the basis of the information from the spinning machines (4) about the remaining quantity of the sliver in the cans (2) at the individual workstations of the spinning machines (4), or information about the removal of the can (2) by the operator during spinning, the information being passed to the control system (5) of the spinning mill, which on the basis of this request predicts the moment of the conveying of the can (2) by the transport vehicle (1) to the respective workstation and the request is placed into a request queue which is optimized for the maximum utilization of the spinning machines (4) with respect to the current position and working activity of the transport vehicles (1), whereby in order to control the individual transport vehicles (1), data/information from the localization system, as well as data/information from the transport vehicle (1), is evaluated and processed.
The invention also relates to a transport vehicle for performing the above described method.
MACHINE TOOL
This machine tool is provided with: a partition that partitions a machining chamber and a tool storage chamber and that has an opening; a shutter; and a receiving member that is formed so as to receive cutting fluid. The partition includes a sidewall member that extends in the vertical direction and an inclined wall member inclined in such a manner so as to become lower from the sidewall member to the interior of the machining chamber. At least part of the opening is formed in the inclined wall member. The receiving member is positioned beneath the shutter, and in such a position so as to receive cutting fluid that drops down along the sidewall member when the shutter is opened.
