A cylindrical filtration filter includes a cylindrical filter main body. The filter main body is constituted by at least two split filters. Each of the split filters has an arc shape in cross section. Each of the split filters includes a filter element for filtration and side frame bodies provided along side portions of the filter element. The side frame body of one of the two split filters adjacent to each other includes a first facing surface having an uneven shape. The side frame body of the other split filter includes a second facing surface having an uneven shape complementary to the first facing surface. The first facing surface and the second facing surface are fitted to each other when the filter main body is assembled.

MACHINING SWARF DETECTION APPARATUS AND MACHINE TOOL
20190039198 · 2019-02-07 ·

A machining swarf detection apparatus that detects presence or absence of machining swarf in a machining chamber of a machine tool includes an illumination unit that illuminates line laser light onto a detection area in the machining chamber, an imaging unit that images the detection area and acquires an image as an inspection image, and an image processor (controller) that detects the presence or absence of the machining swarf based on an image of the line laser light imaged in the inspection image.

Power tool with digital variable reluctance motor control
10189136 · 2019-01-29 · ·

A power tool includes a control for the motor of the power tool that senses an operating characteristic of the motor and controls the operation of the power tool based on the sensed characteristic. The sensed characteristic includes variations in reluctance of the motor. A controller may sense changes on load on the motor as a result of interaction between a working element such as a saw blade or drill bit and the work piece. The controlled operation may include variation in speed or torque or both, or may include stopping the motor. Emergency conditions may be sensed by changes in reluctance.

WASHING NOZZLE FOR MACHINE TOOL AND MACHINE TOOL THEREIN
20180369838 · 2018-12-27 · ·

The washing nozzle for washing an inside of the machine tool with fluid includes a base portion having a tubular passage inside thereof, a supply port through the tubular passage, and a rotary member rotatable about an axis parallel to a surface on which the base portion is mounted, the rotary member having inside thereof a nozzle jet port and a nozzle flow passage allowing communication between the tubular passage and the nozzle jet port, wherein the jet port is formed so that fluid jetted from the jet port of the rotary member hits the surface on which the base portion is mounted and the jet of the fluid causes the rotary member to rotate about the parallel axis.

DUST BAG FOR POWER TOOL AND POWER TOOL
20240278370 · 2024-08-22 · ·

A dust bag includes a frame disposed inside the bag main body. The frame includes at least one non-flexible portion extending in the first direction and/or a second direction perpendicular to the first direction so as not to have flexibility in the first direction, and at least one flexible portion coupled with the at least one non-flexible portion and extending in an intersection direction intersecting with the first direction and the second direction so as to have flexibility in the first direction. The frame is configured to be extensible and compressive in the first direction due to the at least one flexible portion deflected when an external force is applied in the first direction. A total width of the at least one flexible portion in the first direction is equal to or wider than a total width of the at least one non-flexible portion in the first direction.

SWARF HANDLING APPARATUS
20180311777 · 2018-11-01 ·

A swarf handling apparatus installed in a machining tool that performs machining operation accompanied with production of stringy swarf includes a swarf catching device. The swarf catching device includes a holder unit that holds the stringy swarf when the stringy swarf makes contact with the holder unit. The swarf catching device causes the holder unit to be floated in a region around a machining point in such a manner that the position of the holder unit is varied relative to the machining point, for catching the stringy swarf in the holder unit.

Grinding booth assembly and method for grinding a work piece
