Table saw with dust shield

A table saw in one embodiment includes a motor, a blade operably connected to the motor, at least a portion of the blade positioned within an enclosure, and a dust plate extending within the enclosure and positioned between the at least a portion of the blade and the motor.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING BEARING COMPONENTS BY MEANS OF A PRODUCTION LINE, PRODUCTION LINE AND PRODUCTION SYSTEM

A method for producing one or more bearing components along a production line, comprising honing the bearing components along the production line, cleaning the bearing components along the production line, grinding the bearing components along the production line, and transporting the bearing components along the production line utilizing one or more transport units.

Industrial machine provided with foreign matter expulsion mechanism

A foreign-substance discharge mechanism includes: a lubricating-liquid groove provided on a sliding surface of a wedge member and configured to receive a lubricating liquid; and a foreign-substance collector provided to the lubricating-liquid groove and configured to collect foreign substances existing in the lubricating-liquid groove. A first end and a second end of the lubricating-liquid groove are spaced apart from each other in a relative movement direction of the wedge member and the table bed. Disadvantages caused by the presence of the foreign substances between the sliding surfaces can be easily avoided by reliably collecting the foreign substances existing between the sliding surfaces using the lubricating-liquid groove and the foreign-substance collector.

DUST-PROOF DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL WORKTABLE
20180169811 · 2018-06-21 ·

A dust-proof device for machine tool worktable comprises a worktable, a worktable base, a stainless steel dust cover, organ-type dust covers and L-shaped dust-proof plates. The worktable base is installed on a machine tool bridge. The upper portion of the worktable base is provided with a U-shaped through groove. Two ends of the stainless steel dust cover are sealed by the L-shaped dust-proof plates. The upper portion of each L-shaped dust-proof plate is fixed on the lower side of the stainless steel dust cover, and the lower portion of the L-shaped dust-proof plate is fixed on the machine tool bridge. Each organ-type dust cover is disposed under the stainless steel dust cover and has one end connected to the worktable base and the other end connected to the L-shaped dust-proof plate. The worktable covers the stainless steel dust cover and is connected to the worktable base by means of bolts.

ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING PROCESS WITH METAL CHIPS PRODUCED BY MACHINING PROCESSES AS FEEDSTOCK
20180133804 · 2018-05-17 ·

A manufacturing process includes collecting metal chips produced by a subtractive manufacturing processes and sorting the metal chips. The process further includes heating the metal chips to form a melt, removing impurities from the melt, deoxidizing the melt and atomizing the melt to form metal powder. The powder is then used to form a metal part by additive manufacturing or powder metallurgy processes.

Ratcheting quick-adjust drilling jig
09969042 · 2018-05-15 · ·

A quick adjust ratcheting pocket hole jig is presented. The pocket hole jig has a base with a removable upright connected thereto. A guide assembly is slidably received within the upright. Removable and replaceable side supports are connected to the base by way of a dove tail joint. Removable and replaceable adjustable stops are connected to the base by way of key holes. A clamp assembly is connected to the base having a handle portion and a clamp follower. The clamp follower has a ratcheting mechanism and a compressible plunger assembly. The clamp follower can quickly be adjusted using a button on the clamp follower that disengages the ratcheting member such that it can be quickly adjusted. When the handle is operated, it draws the clamp follower towards the upright and guide assembly compressing the spring loaded plunger assembly thereby quickly and tightly and adjustably holding a workpiece therebetween.

METHOD FOR REMOVING CONTAMINATION FROM A CHUCK SURFACE
20180099371 · 2018-04-12 ·

A method for decontaminating support surfaces of a wafer chuck entails lightly passing a treatment tool having a nominally flat contacting surface over the regions of the chuck where contaminants are to be removed. The treatment tool and the chuck surface may have about the same hardness. The treatment tool may be constrained so that it may conform to the surface being processed. When the treatment tool is contacted to a flat surface, the area of contact may be in the form of a circle, ring or annulus. At application pressures, the treatment tool will abrade the chuck, which here is to be avoided, or at least minimized. Thus, the instant inventors have discovered that the same treatment tool that is used to engineer the elevation profile of the resurface, and its roughness, at lower application pressures can be used to remove grinding debris and other contaminants from the surface.

Grinding Booth Assembly and Method for Grinding a Work Piece
20180085883 · 2018-03-29 ·

A portable booth assembly for receiving a work piece to facilitate working on a work area of the work piece including a housing and an inner core disposed within an interior area of the housing is provided. The portable booth assembly includes an aperture that is formed in the housing and the inner core. The aperture is configured to receive the work piece. The inner core defining the aperture is configured to be supported by the work piece if the work piece is large, or support the work piece if the work piece is small, and isolate the work area within the portable booth assembly. The portable booth assembly further includes a cut out formed in the housing. The cut out is configured to enable access to the work area for working on the work area.

Machining system

A machining system with a configuration in which working machines, including a machine tool such as a lathe, are configured to be disposed in a line and multiple working machines perform operations on one work in order such that practical utility of the machining system is enhanced. The machining system includes a base; and multiple working machine modules which are mounted on the base and are arranged in an arrangement direction, and has a configuration in which each of the multiple working machine modules is capable of being drawn out from the base along a track extending in an intersecting direction intersecting with the arrangement direction.

Pneumatic sweeping system

A method and system for removing loose impediments from a surface in a manufacturing setting. The surface may be where a widget is processed. As the widget is processed, loose impediments may fall onto the surface. The surface may be transported to a cleaning station where at least one nozzle directs a stream of fluid onto the surface to displace the loose impediments. A container may be provided adjacent to the surface to receive the loose impediments displaced from the surface. The at least one nozzle may continuously direct the stream of fluid onto to surface so long as the surface is present at the cleaning station. When the surface is no longer present at the cleaning station, the at least one nozzle may be deactivated.
