Tool cleaning device for machine tool
A tool cleaning device for a machine tool has a chip removing device which removes the chip, a moving device to which the chip removing device is attachable, a detecting device which detects a storing state of the chip to the tool of the machine tool, an information processing device which processes information according to the storing state of the chip acquired by the detecting device and judges a region where a chip removing is necessary, and a controller of the moving device which moves the chip removing device to the region where the chip removing is necessary judged by the information processing device. The chip stored on the tool is cleaned by the chip removing device.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool for cutting swarf entangled with a tool. A chuck is attached to a spindle of the machine tool, and grips a workpiece. The chuck is constituted by a first sub chuck and a second sub chuck detachably attached to the first sub chuck. The second sub chuck provided with a cutting tool is attached to the first sub chuck, and the cutting tool is caused to perform an opening/closing operation using a drive force of an opening/closing drive mechanism for gripping/releasing the workpiece, thereby cutting swarf entangled with a turning tool into fragments.
INTELLIGENT MACHINE VISION SYSTEM FOR IN-PROCESS TOOL WEAR MONITORING
An intelligent machine vision system for in-process monitoring of wear of a cutting tool includes a machine vision camera, a microscope, and a light source adapted for lighting the cutting tool to allow collection of cutting tool images with the machine vision camera. A CDC cutting machine for in-process monitoring of a cutting tool incorporates this machine camera vision system. Further, a method of in-process monitoring of a machine cutting tool includes the steps of displacing a spindle of the machine cutting tool to position the machine cutting tool held in the spindle for monitoring with a machine vision camera and collecting at least one image of a first cutting edge of the cutting tool.

TOOL TRANSPORT DEVICE
A tool transport device (10) transporting a tool (T) between a machine tool (M) including a tool magazine (TM) holding a plurality of tools (T) and a tool storage device storing a plurality of tools includes a moving device (11) having a moving table (15) and moving on a path (14) or with no path to move the moving table (15) to a working position set for the tool magazine (TM) and a working position set for the tool storage device, a tool attachment/detachment robot (25) and an air blow device (30) arranged on the moving table (15), and a controller (50) controlling operations of the moving device (11), tool attachment/detachment robot (25), and air blow device (30). The air blow device (30) includes an air blow box (31) having an opening (32) for loading and unloading of the tool (T) and has therein a space able to receive the tool (T), and a pressurized air ejection unit ejecting pressurized air into the air blow box (31).
CUTTING MACHINE
A cutting machine includes a cutting room in which a cutting object is cut, a gripping portion to selectively grip one of a cutting tool that cuts the cutting object and a dummy pin that does not cut the cutting object and is in the cutting room, a spindle to rotate the gripping portion around an axis line, a contact body that is in the cutting room and can contact the dummy pin gripped by the gripping portion, a position adjuster to change a relative positional relationship between the gripping portion and the contact body, and a controller including a dummy pin cleaning controller to execute dummy pin cleaning by rotating, when the dummy pin gripped by the gripping portion is brought into contact with the contact body, the dummy pin together with the gripping portion by the spindle.
Device for welding profiled elements in plastic material, in particular PVC
A device for welding profiled elements in plastic material includes: a base frame supporting retaining members of respective profiled elements, to engage the profiled elements with corresponding zones to be welded facing one another; a heater for heating the weld zones of the profiled elements; a unit to move the retaining members, to shift the profiled elements between a first reciprocal away direction and a second reciprocal closer direction wherein the zones to be welded are coupled together; and a removal unit utilizing milling The removal unit includes: a supporting frame positioned in correspondence to the retaining members; at least one machining tool; a motor part associated with the tool; and a movement member of the tool, to move it between a first idle condition and a second working condition wherein it is placed between the profiled elements.
Chip discharge device of machine tool
A chip discharge device of a machine tool includes a coolant tank storing coolant which is supplied to and dropped from a machining point, and a chip conveyor discharging chips which are generated at and dropped from the machining point, to an outside of the machine tool. A bottom wall of the coolant tank is inclined in a chip discharge side by mounting the coolant tank to the bed.
Deburring apparatus with driving means for rotatably and reversibly driving the apparatus to and away of a billet
An apparatus for removing burrs on billets has a supporting element and at least two arms extending from the supporting element. Deburring devices are driven in rotation by burrs of billets. The deburring devices are supported by the arms. The apparatus is driven rotatably and reversibly by a drive between a stand-by position wherein the apparatus is spaced apart from the billet to be deburred and a working position wherein the deburring devices are close to the billet to be deburred and are able to contact a burr.
CUTTING TOOL CLEANER
A nozzle used to clean a cutting tool held by a turret in a position different from a spindle position (cutting tool exchange position) is provided. When a cutting tool exchange command is issued, the turret is caused to pivot so that a cutting tool to be attached to the spindle next is located in a cleaning position. The nozzle ejects a coolant or air toward a cavity in a tapered section of the next cutting tool held by the turret. Since chips and other foreign matter are removed from the cavity, occurrence of clamping failure that may occur when the next cutting tool is attached to the spindle can be avoided.
