INDEXING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF INDEXING
An indexing apparatus includes a fixture tool, movable relative to an operation cell, and an indexing feature, fixed relative to the fixture tool. The indexing apparatus also includes a sensor, configured to detect the indexing feature. The indexing apparatus further includes a controller, in communication with the sensor. The controller is configured to locate the fixture tool relative to the operation cell from an indexing-feature location of the indexing feature, identified by the sensor.

Adjustable feed mechanisms, machining assemblies including the same, and associated methods
Adjustable feed mechanisms, machining assemblies including the same, and associated methods. An adjustable feed mechanism includes a plurality of cam segments and a cam lifter configured to pivot each cam segment about a corresponding cam pivot point. An adjustable feed mechanism additionally includes a cam follower and a feed output assembly. The cam follower moves along the cam segments sequentially and is pivotally coupled to the feed output assembly. The cam follower pivots through a cam activation angle when moving along a given cam segment to produce the feed output. A machining assembly includes a mount assembly, a rotary element, and an adjustable feed mechanism. A method of utilizing a machining assembly to machine a work piece includes engaging the work piece with a machining assembly, positioning the tool head with respect to the work surface of the work piece, and machining the work surface.
TURRET DEVICE
A turret device having a configuration for obtaining required processing accuracy, includes: an indexing motor configured to pivotally index a turret tool; a turret shaft configured to transmit a rotation of the indexing motor; and a turret head coupled to the turret shaft on which multiple turret tools are mounted on a circumference, wherein the turret head includes a diaphragm-type base member coupled to the turret shaft, an inner diameter side of the base member is coupled to the turret shaft, and an outer diameter side of the base member is rotationally supported by a bearing fixed to a main body member of a turret.

INDEXING DEVICE
An indexing device includes a drive transmission mechanism, a fixing mechanism. The drive transmission mechanism includes an intermediate gear which includes an intermediate shaft being inserted at an end portion into an accommodation hole formed in a frame, and the intermediate shaft includes an accommodating concave portion and a plurality of through-holes. The fixing mechanism includes a cylindrical pressing member, steel balls and a screw member. There is a gap between the pressing member and a bottom surface of the pressing member in a state in which the pressing member is accommodated in the accommodating concave portion and the steel ball accommodated in each through-hole is in contact with a tapered surface and an inner peripheral surface of the accommodation hole.
Rotary indexing table with power-optimized drive
Disclosed is a rotary indexing table (10) having an output flange (12) which is suitable for receiving a workpiece, mounted on a housing (14) of said rotary indexing table (10) for rotation about an axis of rotation (A) and drivingly connected to at least one drive element (24) which engages a driving groove (22) in a cylindrical cam (20) which can be driven by a motor, the cylindrical cam (20) being disposed asymmetrically to the axis of rotation (A) of the output flange (12).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED DRILLING ACTIVITY MONITORING
A drilling detection system may include a drilling detection circuitry including one or more detection processors configured to receive a vibration signal indicative of vibration associated with a drilling machine configured to drill holes into a substrate and receive a movement signal indicative of movement of the drilling machine relative to one or more positions on the substrate. The one or more detection processors may also be configured to determine vibration associated with the drilling machine, and determine movement associated with the drilling machine. The one or more detection processors may also be configured to determine, based at least in part on the vibration associated with the drilling machine and the movement associated with the drilling machine, the drilling machine has drilled holes into the substrate and a position on the substrate at which the drilling machine has drilled the holes into the substrate.
