Lathe positioning apparatus
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lathe positioning apparatus such that a work held by a chuck can be positioned at an arbitrary position in main shaft direction and the installation space and the size of the apparatus can be decreased. A lathe positioning apparatus for positioning a work W held by a chuck 6 in a main shaft 4 direction is provided with an apparatus body 12 having a shaft center along the main shaft 4 direction. An abutting portion 26 for abutting the work W is formed on a chuck 6 side end of the apparatus body 12. A mechanism for advancing or withdrawing the abutting portion 26 with respect to the chuck 6 is provided. An extension/contraction mechanism for extending or contracting the apparatus body 12 in the main shaft 4 direction is provided in the apparatus body 12. The abutting portion 26 is advanced or withdrawing with respect to the chuck 6 by the extending or contracting by the extension/contraction mechanism.
Micro-adjustable flip-away work stop for strut systems
An in-line indexing mechanism as part of a work-stop system which employs a lead screw to alter the relative distance between a work-stop plate and a swing armas well as alignment pins and springs to maintain contact and rigidity between this work-stop plate and swing armin order to precisely alter the parameters of a workpiece plane. In particular, the indexing mechanism of the preferred embodiment resides within the extension of an arm, and is located, by default, within the workpiece plane; the act of indexing therefore exerts force upon a workpiece along a coincident axis within said workpiece plane. Additionally, the indexing mechanism may be removed from the workpiece plane, by way of axially rotating the arm, without abandoning the original workpiece parameter and adjustment values.
ROBOT SYSTEM AND ROBOT
A robot system includes a robot including a hand including a plurality of finger sections and a work device in which the robot performs work. The work device includes a first rotating body, a second rotating body configured to rotate in association with rotation of the first rotating body, a grip section provided in the first rotating body, and a setting section provided in the second rotating body, a target object of the work performed by the robot being set on the setting section. The robot grips the grip section with the finger sections to rotate the first rotating body.
ROTATING AXIS SUPPORTING DEVICE
A rotating axis supporting device of the present invention includes: a housing; a rotating axis rotatably pivoted to the housing; a case for fixing the housing; and an adjustment mechanism adjusting a position of the rotating axis by causing an attachment surface of the housing attached to the case to be perpendicular to an axial direction of the rotating axis, attaching the housing to move relative to the case in parallel to the attachment surface, and moving the housing and the case relative to each other in parallel to the attachment surface.
Part fixturing device with adjustable positioning
Fixturing elements for positioning components on a work surface with a fixed or variable pitch are disclosed. The fixturing elements include a bottom portion adapted to be coupled directly or indirectly to the work surface and a top portion with a generally horizontally-extending slot or track. An insert is adapted to be positioned within the slot or track, which allows the insert to be slid or positioned at any number of positions along the slot or track. The insert may, for example, include a vertically-extending pin or a threaded hole that is adapted to receive other components. In some embodiments, the fixturing element may include an exterior side slot that opens into the slot or track, and a handle element may be inserted through the side slot and into the insert, allowing the inserted to be positioned using the handle element.
TURRET TOOL POST AND MACHINE TOOL EQUIPPED WITH TURRET TOOL POST
A turret tool post includes a turret turnably supported by a post body, turret turning part having a turret turning shaft and the like to turn the turret, a tool attachment part turnably holding a rotatable tool and attached to the turret, and tool-attachment-part turning part turning the tool attachment part to turn the rotatable tool. The tool-attachment-part turning part and the turret turning part are provided independently and arranged to face each other. The tool-attachment-part turning part includes a tool turning motor installed inside the turret and an attachment-part transmission shaft connected to the tool turning motor.
Tool changer provided with covers
A tool changer configured so that a turret is turned to index a desired tool to change the tool is provided with front and rear covers that cover front and rear surfaces, respectively, of the turret. A projection or a recess, which defines a passage for chips or a cutting fluid, is formed on or in an outer peripheral portion of the rear cover. Thus, the chips produced during machining and the cutting fluid used in the machining can be prevented from getting into the turret through a gap between the front and rear covers.

MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool for implementing machining with rotation, the machine tool includes a first rotor, an enclosure, a first rail, a second rail, and a coupler. The first rotor rotates about a rotational axis. The first rotor is surrounded with the enclosure. The first rail is disposed on the first rotor. The second rail is disposed on the enclosure so as to be brought into alignment with the first rail at a rotational position. The coupler moves along the first rail and the second rail. The coupler is to engage with the first rail and the second rail in a first state and to engage with the second rail without engaging with the first rail in a second state.
