The loading/unloading unit (100) comprises one or more orientation devices (30) that can be pulled up from said platform (10) along a third axis (Z-Z) perpendicular to the first axis (X-X) and the second axis (Y-Y) and are configured to rotate a profile (1) about its respective longitudinal axis (A-A).
Machining device
The invention relates to a machining device, in particular for machining workpieces made from wood, wood materials, plastic or the like, having at least one workpiece table with a first workpiece holder for holding at least one workpiece, furthermore with a second workpiece holder for holding at least one workpiece, wherein the workpiece can be positioned in at least two dimensions, advantageously in three dimensions, during a re-clamping operation from the first workpiece holder into the second workpiece holder.
STEADY REST FOR SUPPORTING A WORKPIECE BEING MACHINED
A steady rest for supporting a, particularly elongate, workpiece undergoing mechanical work and particularly machining, having: a steady rest main part that can be arranged in a device for machining a workpiece being machined, and at least one support arrangement which is disposed or designed on said steady rest main part and configured to support a workpiece being machined, and comprises at least one support element that supports a workpiece requiring support, wherein said at least one support arrangement is disposed or designed to be mounted on the steady rest main part such that it can move, relative to said steady rest main part, in at least one degree of freedom of movement which defines a path of movement.
Chuck mechanism
A chuck mechanism enables downsizing of the device with a simple structure, has a wide open/close width of clamps, and hardly causes a dent or scar on pipes. The chuck mechanism includes a horizontally arranged shaft, a frame, a pair of dog leg shaped link members, parallel link members, a pair of clamp members, and a swing drive mechanism.
WOOD PROCESSING SYSTEM
Provided is a wood processing system including a wood conveying device having a longitudinal direction along one direction in the horizontal direction and being capable of conveying wood along the longitudinal direction; a multi-axis processing machine arranged on one side in the longitudinal direction of the wood conveying device, the multi-axis processing machine including a spindle capable of being attached with a first tool, and a spindle moving device having two or more linear axes perpendicular to one another and two or more rotational axes for moving the spindle; and at least one multi-articulated robot arranged along the wood conveying device on the other side in the longitudinal direction of the wood conveying device, the at least one multi-articulated robot including a wrist capable of being attached with a tool unit including a second tool, and an arm having six or more rotational axes for moving the wrist.
Lumber Retrieval System for a Centrally Located Saw
Lumber retrieval systems and methods feed a centrally located saw with a predetermined assortment of boards picked from certain stations distributed at either side of the saw. In some examples, an overhead trolley system carries individual boards in a certain sequence from chosen stations to a board-receiving apparatus. The board-receiving apparatus, in turn, feeds the boards to the saw. The saw then cuts the boards into board segments, which can be used for making prefabricated trusses and wall panels. In some examples, the trolley system has a laser-scanning feature for determining the location of the next-to-pick board while simultaneously transporting the board currently heading to the board-receiving apparatus. In some examples, the trolley system includes two board carriers each of which are dedicated or assigned to certain stations. In some examples, one carrier serves as backup for the other one when one of the carriers is broken or otherwise inactive.

Milling machine
A portable and field-adjustable milling machine comprises: a base; a milling assembly coupled to the base and that includes a milling tool rotatable by a driver; a roller bed coupled to the base and configured to support a tubular member thereon; and a vice assembly that is coupled to the base. Each vice member of the vice assembly is configured to be moved towards the other of the pair and includes camming surfaces configured to lift the tubular member off of the roller bed in response to the vice members being moved toward one another. The vice member may have a v-shaped notch defined by a pair of angled surfaces. The vice assembly lifts the tubular member and retains it in the notch at a position that is a predetermined distance away from the roller bed.
Rod cutting debris collector and guide
A debris collection device includes first and second members that are moveable relative to each other between first and second configurations. In the second configuration, the first and second members interface with each other and define a restraint opening that is configured to receive an elongate element, such as a spinal rod. The first and second members while in the second configuration define a guide opening that intersects the restraint opening. Such guide opening is configured to receive a cutting tool, such as a conical burr, drill bit, mill or saw. The first and second members have walls that, when in the second configuration, collectively define an interior space that has a volume sufficient to collect debris created by cutting the elongate element through the guide opening. Methods of utilizing the debris collection device allow for cutting of a spinal rod or the like in situ while capture debris caused by the cutting procedure.
