PILLOW APPARATUS
Embodiments of the invention relate to a customizable pillow apparatus. Typically, the customizable pillow apparatus comprises an outer shell and a support filler assembly contained within the outer shell. The support filler assembly comprises a plurality of support layer components arranged in a first configuration with each support layer component being structured to provide predetermined support characteristics. The support filler assembly is structured to be transformed from a disassembled mode to an assembled mode by rotating a first support layer of the plurality of support layers in a first direction such that the rotated first support layer at least partially overlaps a second support layer to form the first configuration. Moreover, arrangement, ordering, and positioning of the plurality of internal layer components is easily adjustable. The customizable pillow apparatus is configured to be modified into a second configuration from the first configuration to provide targeted support to the user.
Orthopedic cushion
An orthopedic cushion includes a head support segment and a torso support segment. The head support segment has a width between first and second ends thereof. The torso support segment is connected to the head support segment at a middle region of the head support segment halfway between the first and second ends. The torso support segment has a width between first and second lateral edges thereof. The width of the torso support segment is less than the width of the head support segment to define a first well and a second well on either side of the torso support segment adjacent the head support segment. The first well is defined along the first lateral edge, and the second well is defined along the second lateral edge.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL COMPRISING GRAPHENE QUANTUM DOTS AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
A composite material includes, by weight, 50-70 parts of polyol; 15-35 parts of polyether polyol; 0.5-1.5 parts of a polyester pigment or water-based resin-free pigment having a particle size of 100-500 meshes; 2.7-3.4 parts of silicone oil; 0.1-0.3 parts of a crosslinking agent; 0.1-0.3 parts of a catalyst; 2-6 parts of water; and 0.2-0.7 parts of graphene quantum dots (GQDs).
MODULAR PILLOW
A modular pillow is disclosed, including a pillow case having an opening and a means for opening and/or closing the opening. The means for opening and/or closing includes a pillow case string. One or more cushions are sized and/or shaped to be inserted into the pillow case to produce a desired firmness, size, and/or shape for the pillow. At least one of the cushions is of a different firmness as another cushion of the group of cushions to be inserted into the pillow case. The pillow case and the cushions are configured to allow a user to customize the pillow in a convenient manner at any given time. The cushions have textured and/or adhesive surfaces to prevent slippage between cushions while inside the pillow case.
TRAVEL PILLOW PROTECTIVE CASE
A protective case for a travel pillow having a hollow interior configured to receive a travel pillow, the hollow interior having a geometry configured to match the geometry of the travel pillow, wherein the travel pillow is defined by a fill encapsulated by a layer of material, and at least one sealable opening to the hollow interior, wherein the hollow interior is less than an entire interior of the protective case.
Changing table cover
A changing table cover comprises a sheet, a pillow and a bag. The sheet includes a plurality of corner portions, at least two of which include elastic material. The pillow is affixed to a top surface of the sheet. The bag is affixed to an end portion of the sheet.
METHOD OF PREVENTING MICROBES IN DISPOSABLE PRODUCTS
The present invention describes methods and product for protection against microbial colonization associated with the use of hygienic products, such as diapers, bandages, sanitary napkins, tampons, gowns, facemasks, table covers, and the like, through significantly minimizing, inhibiting, or preventing microbial colonization in the hygienic product material. The present invention provides for using a hygienic product containing at least one inner layer of its composition that is integrated with an effective amount of natural, viable, non-pathogenic, antimicrobial, Terpinen-4-ol, for inhibiting the growth and multiplication of microorganisms. The method used for integrating the natural antimicrobial product, the Terpinen-4-ol, to the selected sanitary product layer utilizes, amongst others, a nanotechnology process.
INFECTION CONTROL BEDDING PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
An infection control bedding product such as a pillow, duvet, mattress, cushion or such like having a sealed cover, a resiliently deformable filling material, and a vent means in the cover, the vent means including a filter medium including a filter membrane for the removal of particles of microbial size, a strengthening layer of material for providing mechanical strength to the filter medium, and an adhesive layer, wherein the filter medium allows air flow therethrough but is substantially impermeable to liquid while maintaining a barrier to particles of microbial size; optionally, wherein the adhesive layer is formed from a plurality of dots of adhesive applied to the strengthening layer.
HANDMADE ARTICLE OF LINEN AND/OR BEDCLOTHES
An improved handmade article of linen and/or bedclothes (1) comprising two padded bedclothes items (2, 3) which are facing and opposite each other, are quilted according to modular squares or sectors scheme (4), comprise a plurality of inner spacer tabs (5) which are arranged inside the padded bedclothes items (2, 3) which are firmly connected with and which separate each other the quilted squares (4) of each of the padded bedclothes items (2, 3), the bedclothes items (2, 3) being also connected each other through junction means (6) in such a way as to define between the bedclothes items (2, 3) a hygroscopic interstitial chamber (7) suitable to increase the breathability and thermoregulation of the article (1). In particular, the spacer tabs (5) of the bedclothes items (2, 3) presents one or more through holes (8) which place the quilted squares (4) adjacent each other and belonging to the same bedclothes items (2, 3) in mutual communication, so that circulation of air (A) inside the bedclothes items (2, 3) and/or the interstitial chamber (7) is maximized or optimized.
COMFORT SYSTEM
