A support pillow has a pillow-fill unit comprising pillow fill material, a neck support unit comprising an inflatable air bladder and a pillow case having a first sleeve for receiving the pillow-fill unit and a second sleeve for receiving the cervical or neck support unit. The second sleeve of the pillow case includes padding on an inner sleeve surface. The inflatable air bladder includes a valve that operates in a first state to allow an input of pressurized air and in a second state to allow an exit of bladder-stored air. Adding air to the inflatable air bladder, in the first state, increases a size of and pressure in the inflatable air bladder. Also, the padding on the inner sleeve surface of the second sleeve is soft, and compressible.

An inflatable mat structure includes a mat. The mat includes an upper covering layer, a lower covering layer, and a plurality of blocking layers horizontally disposed between the upper and lower covering layers. The blocking layers pass through a plurality of longitudinal connecting members to be positioned at different positions. The blocking layers are partially wavy through the structural characteristics of the longitudinal connecting members, and the interior of the mat has a plurality of layered spaces formed by the blocking layers, so that the mat can reduce the possibility of air convection, so as to block air convection and prevent temperature radiation.

The infant soothing system is adapted for use with infants. The infant soothing system is a cushion or pillow that that simulates the breathing and heartbeat patterns of a mother. The infant is placed upon the infant soothing system during rest periods during which a bladder contained within the infant soothing system inflates and deflates to simulate the breathing pattern. One or more speakers located within the infant soothing system generate an audible sound that simulates the heartbeat pattern. The infant soothing system comprises a bladder, a base, a pressure system, a sound system, and a control system.

Described in an example embodiment herein is a portable headrest. The portable headrest may be deployed on a surface in front of a user, such as a tray table on an aircraft or a desk.

An inflatable pad is provided including a top piece and a bottom piece comprising an outer periphery welded to an outer periphery of the top piece, thereby defining an inflatable chamber between the top piece and the bottom piece. The inflatable pad further includes a plurality of welding points at which the top piece and the bottom piece are welded to each other and a plurality of welding lines along which the top piece and the bottom piece are welded to each other. One of the plurality of welding points is disposed as predetermined distance from each end of each of the plurality of welding lines.

Provided is an example of a vehicle seat that allows easy use of external pneumatic equipment such as an external air pillow. The vehicle seat includes an output portion configured to output an air having a pressure equal to or higher than an atmospheric pressure to an outside of the vehicle seat.

A novel pillow is provided to easily adjust its height by pulling a lever on the side of the pillow to activate the air control valve configured to personalize the head support needed for that individual. Pulling the lever to a fully open position creates a larger air passage to the inflatable bladder and activates an air pump for rapid inflation of the pillow so as to increase its height. With a user head laying over the pillow, pulling a lever slightly opens up a smaller opening suitable for gradual deflation of the pillow and reducing its height caused by the pressure generated by the head. Soft comfort portion on top of the pillow enclosed in a stretchable fabric reduces surface tension and creates a softer feeling for the user thereby improving comfort and consequently sleep quality. An altimeter may be incorporated with the bladder to easily monitor sleep patterns of the user.

A pillow comprises a substantially U-shaped body defining a recess adapted to house the neck of a user. The U-shaped body has a rear portion and first and second side portions that define a rear wall and first and second side walls of the recess and define a shoulder-contacting base and an upper surface. The pillow has a first inflatable headrest having a lower part housed in the recess adjacent the first side wall of the recess and a second inflatable headrest having a lower part housed in the recess adjacent the second side wall of the recess. The first and second inflatable headrests are each alterable between a first configuration wherein they are deflated and a second configuration wherein they are inflated such that respective upper parts of the headrests extend upwardly from the recess so as to cover respective ears of a user.

A pillow includes a first pillow cushion consisting essentially of a gelatinous elastomer that is sized and configured to support a head and neck of a person using the pillow cushion and a second pillow cushion coupled thereto. The pillow cushion has deformable wall members located and configured to define voids therebetween such that the deformable wall members may be displaced into adjacent voids upon deformation of the deformable wall members. The deformable wall members are configured to buckle when a pressure applied to a cushioning surface of the first pillow cushion, in a direction perpendicular to a first major surface, exceeds a threshold pressure level. A pillow cover covers the first pillow cushion and the second pillow cushion. A method of fabricating a pillow includes enclosing such first and second pillow cushions in a pillow cover.

A transformable, multi-function, detachable, foldable, two piece pillow which allows for comfortable and ergonomically correct prone, supine and seated use is provided. The two piece design is comprised of an upper wedged contour pillow and a lower horseshoe pillow, which may be used together or separately. The two pillow design allows for both pillows to be used together in different configurations, or separately to provide for comfortable and ergonomically correct prone, supine and seated use.
