Electric Handheld Filer
20230124287 · 2023-04-20 ·

The present invention relates to an electric handheld file tool for automatically filing down a workpiece. The electric filing tool is designed to save the time and effort associated with manually moving a file tool back and forth. A power source provides power to the motor of the device, and a linear motion is provided by a spindle to a file attachment for filing the workpiece. The spindle converts the rotational motion of the motor to reciprocating back and forth movement of the file attachment. The tool has an activation button for activating the tool, and a speed control button for controlling a speed of the file attachment. The filing tool can be used with a variety of removably attached file attachments, and can also be provided power using conventional 120-volt AC supply or battery power.

An adapter assembly is provided for converting a first oscillating motion from an oscillating tool to a second oscillating motion at a wheel that is useful for applying polymers and other films to doors, windows, and other surfaces or for applying rubber gaskets around a window during installation of the window. The adapter assembly is provided with an adapter that tapers in the anterior direction when attached to an oscillating tool. An axle is provided at the distal end of the adapter and attaches to a concentrically aligned bearing within the wheel.

Power tool

A power tool includes a housing, a spindle, a clamp shaft, a first biasing member, an engagement member, a first holding member, a manually operable member and a push-down member. The first biasing member biases the clamp shaft upward. The first holding member holds the engagement member to be movable between a first position and a second position in the up-down direction relative to the first holding member. The manually operable member moves a first one of the engagement member and the first holding member downward in response to a manual unclamping operation. The engagement member moves from the first position to the second position to be movable in the radial direction in response to the manual unclamping operation. The first one of the engagement member and the first holding member pushes down a tool accessory via the push-down member while the first one is moving downward.

A suction device for a handheld power tool that is adapted to be driven in oscillation and that is equipped with a gearbox extension housing for mounting of the suction device. The suction device having a body mounted on the gearbox extension housing of the handheld power tool via a mounting section and an air duct formed in the body, the air duct being delimited at one end by an air inlet and at an other end by an air outlet on which a suction apparatus or a dust exhauster is adapted to be detachably mounted. The mounting section of the body is formed essentially as a hollow cylinder and extends between a first plane and a second plane, which are substantially parallel.

POWER TOOL

A power tool includes a power mechanism including a drive shaft; an oscillating mechanism; an airflow element connected to the drive shaft; a heat conducting portion supported on the drive shaft, where the airflow element is disposed on the heat conducting portion. The oscillating mechanism includes a support assembly sleeved on the drive shaft and an oscillating member. Heat generated by the oscillating mechanism is conducted to the heat conducting portion through the drive shaft, the heat conducting portion has a thermal conductivity greater than or equal to 50 W/m•°C, and a ratio of an axial distance L1 of a portion of the heat conducting portion in contact with the drive shaft to a distance L2 of a thermally conductive portion of the drive shaft between the heat conducting portion and the support assembly is greater than or equal to 0.1 and less than or equal to 5.

Cooling device for a rotating polishing disk

A cooling device for a rotating machine has a fan assembly coupled with a backing plate. A hub, on the backing plate, secures the cooling device with a shaft. The backing plate includes one or more vents to enable air to exit the cooling device. The fan includes an opening to enable air to enter the cooling device. A chamber is formed between the fan assembly and the backing plate. During rotation, air is drawn into the opening. The air is passed into the chamber and exits through the vents to cool a work surface or working pad attached to the backing plate.
