TOOL AND METHOD FOR MECHANICAL SURFACE TREATMENT
A tool for mechanical surface treatment includes a housing, a roller body, and a resonator. The housing has a cavity for filling with a hydraulic medium having a basic pressure. The roller body is for rolling on a workpiece surface to be treated and is exposed to the basic pressure of the hydraulic medium. The resonator is arranged for generating targeted pressure pulses in the hydraulic medium. In some example embodiments, the housing has a tubular body with a tip and the roller body is arranged at the tip. In an example embodiment, the roller body is a sphere. In an example embodiment, the tool includes a seal for sealing the roller body to the tubular body.

BURNISHING MACHINE
An apparatus for burnishing a tube includes a housing having an inner surface defining a passage. A shaft provided in the passage is rotatable therein. An eccentric cam extends from the shaft and is rotatable therewith. The tube is configured for positioning within the passage and around the cam such that rotation of the cam simultaneously removes burrs from inner and outer surfaces of the tube.
Rolling component, bearing, and method of manufacturing the same
A rolling component has a surface. The rolling component includes a fiber flow and a non-metallic inclusion. In a region from the surface of the rolling component to a first depth, a gap between the non-metallic inclusion and a member forming the rolling component is filled. The first depth is 50 μm or more. The surface and the fiber flow form an angle of 15° or more.
Method for machining a bearing ring and for producing a rolling bearing
A method for machining a bearing ring of a rolling bearing includes clamping a blank for the bearing ring in a machining machine, and applying a pulsating pressure using a machining body to structure and simultaneously harden an annularly closed sealing surface of the blank. The machining body may be a spherical machining body. The method may also include removing material from the blank to produce a bearing ring track using the same clamping. The blank may be rotated during the applying a pulsating pressure step and the removing material step.
Rolling device for rolling work pieces having a toothing, and associated method
A rolling device for work pieces with toothing, in particular gear wheels, includes first and second shaping tools which are guided by a guide relative to the work pieces. With respect to the work pieces, a first region of a tooth flank is shaped with the first shaping tool and a second region of the tooth flank is shaped by the second shaping tool. The first and second shaping tools are respectively mounted on first and second rollers. The second roller has an axial thickness on the circumference, which differs from the axial thickness of the first roller such that the second region of the tooth flank is different from the first region.
Burnishing tool
A burnishing tool uses a relatively small pressing load in burnishing. The burnishing tool for machining a target surface of a workpiece includes a base and a tip portion located on a distal end of the base. The tip portion includes a linear slide-contact portion that linearly contacts and slides on the target surface.

Method and device for structurally conditioning a roll
The object of providing a method for conditioning a working roll with which the material properties of a working roll can be set in a process-reliable and uniform manner is achieved by a method in which a roll and at least one pressure tool are rotated relative to each other, in which pressure is applied locally to the roll by means of the at least one pressure tool, comprising at least one pressure element, via the at least one pressure element, and in which a deep rolling process is carried out.
HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A front fork includes a first tube body having an oil flowing therein, a second tube body provided inside the first tube body, the second tube body having the oil flowing therein, and having the oil flowing in an oil passage formed between the first tube body and the second tube body, a partition member provided in the second tube body and partitioning one end of an oil chamber, a rod extending along an axis of the second tube body through the partition member and being configured to move relative to the partition member, an outer periphery of the rod having a dimple portion recessed toward a center of the rod, and a piston provided at a distal end of the rod and allowing the oil to pass, wherein a boundary between an outer peripheral surface of the rod and the dimple portion is formed by a curved surface.
