REUSABLE HUB ASSEMBLY FOR ABRASIVE ARTICLES
A method of reusing a hub in an abrasive assembly is presented that includes removably coupling the abrasive wheel to a reusable hub. The abrasive wheel has an outer circumference and an inner circumference. The abrasive article has an inner circumference and an outer circumference. The method also includes abrading a worksurface by contacting the abrasive wheel to the worksurface. The reusable hub includes a coupling feature configured to directly couple to the abrasive article. The coupling feature includes an adhesive-free connection between the reusable hub and the abrasive wheel. The direct connection is a removable interlocking between the abrasive wheel and the reusable hub.

CONNECTING DEVICE
A connecting device may be provided comprising a positive connecting element and a negative connecting element, wherein the positive connecting element has an elevation arranged on a base surface and the negative connecting element has a depression introduced into a contact surface, into which the elevation of the positive connecting element can be introduced, wherein the positive and the negative connecting element may be connected to one another by rotation relative to one another.
ROTATING APPARATUS
A rotating apparatus includes a body connected to a power generation part to rotate a member to be rotated and comprises a driving shaft formed at a side thereof and coupled to the power generation part, a disc-shaped seating part formed at another side thereof, multiple fixing protrusions protruding at an uniform interval on an edge portion of an upper surface of the seating part, a boss protruding from the center thereof, and multiple latching protrusions formed on the outer peripheral surface of the boss; a locking part coupled to the upper surface of the seating part to make in contact with the upper surface of the seating part, and a reverse rotation prevention means maintaining a coupling state between the locking part and the body.
TOOL WITH TOOL ELEMENTS
A tool with tool elements, rotating grinding and/or sanding tool is provided. The tool consists of a tool portion and a mounting portion, which secures the tool elements in the tool. The tool is distinguished in that the tool portion comprises first mount, and the mounting portion includes second corresponding mount for engaging with the first mount. The first and second mount include one or more resilient tabs, each of which is provided with at least one barb, and furthermore the mount comprises one or more recesses. When the tool portion and the mounting portion are assembled, the barbs on the resilient tabs will lock in the recesses of the mounting portion which are designed for this, locking the tool portion and the mounting portion to each other.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING 3D MODEL DATA FROM A MEDIA CONTENT EVENT
Three dimension (3D) model generation systems and methods are operable to generate 3D model data corresponding to images of a physical object of interest that are viewed in a presenting media content event. An exemplary embodiment receives a user request that is associated with an interest by the user to obtain a 3D model of a physical object of interest that is being shown in a scene of a currently presenting media content event. A plurality of video image frames are selected from the scene. Then, 3D model data of the physical object of interest is generated based on at least the selected video image frames of the scene.
HAND-HELD AND HAND-GUIDED RANDOM ORBITAL POLISHING OR SANDING POWER TOOL
The invention refers to a hand-held and hand-guided random orbital polishing or sanding power tool (1). The tool (1) comprises a static body (31), a motor (15), an eccentric element (17) driven by the motor (15) and performing a rotational movement about a first rotational axis (10), and a plate-like backing pad (9) connected to the eccentric element (17) in a manner freely rotatable about a second rotational axis (16). The first and second rotational axes (10, 16) extend essentially parallel to one another and are spaced apart from one another. In order to provide for a power tool (1) particularly quiet and low in vibrations, it is suggested that at least part of an external circumferential surface of the eccentric element (17) has an at least discrete rotational symmetry in respect to the first rotational axis (10); the power tool (1) comprises at least one first bearing (30) provided between the rotationally symmetric part of the external circumferential surface of the eccentric element (17) and the static body (31) of the power tool (1) so that the eccentric element (17) is guided in respect to the body (31) in a manner rotatable about the first rotational axis (10); and the power tool (1) comprises a mechanical gear arrangement (21) with at least two meshing gear wheels (27, 28, 29, 29.1, 29.2), wherein the gear arrangement (21) is provided functionally between a driving shaft (18) driven by the motor (15) and the eccentric element (17) and wherein at least one of the gear wheels (27) is attached to the eccentric element (17) in a manner adapted for transmitting torque to the eccentric element (17).
