Compact angle reference apparatus for sharpening blades
A compact angle reference apparatus comprises one angle guide; and a base; wherein the one angle guide can be disposed on the base; wherein the base can be disposed on a surface adjacent to a sharpening tool; wherein the one angle guide further comprises a frame having an insert side and a hinge side, a lid having a guide surface, an insert end, and a hinge end opposite to the insert end, a set of hinge pins connecting the hinge side of the frame and the hinge end of the lid in a rotatable manner, an insert having a predetermined height, wherein the insert is movable, wherein the insert is configured to be erected between the insert end of the lid and the insert side of the frame, wherein the lid and the frame can form an angle by the predetermined height of the insert.
Electrode Sharpener Cover Retrofit Attachment
A sharpener cover retrofit attachment to retrofit an electrode sharpener cover attachment on an electrode sharpener, the electrode sharpener for sharpening an electrode rod and having a protruding hollow sharpener shaft with a sharpener shaft outer diameter and a rotating sharpener shaft inner diameter for accepting the electrode rod. The attachment includes a first and second annulus, both axially aligned such that they are able to accept and align the electrode rod into the rotating sharpener shaft inner diameter.
SKATE BLADE SHARPENER WITH INDEXING STONE
A handheld skate blade sharpening tool that has an automatically indexing, rotating sharpening stone that matches the concaved profile of the skate blade retained within a two-piece body member. Screws hold the two-piece body member together to keep the round sharpening stone sized to match the desired concave profile. The sharpening stone will remove metal to match the shape of the stone each time the sharpener is moved back and forth along the blade. The sharpening stone has gears on each end of the stone that match the gears inside the two-piece body. As the tool is moved along the skate blade, the sharpening stone will incrementally rotate within the body when the direction is changed in the reciprocating motion by the user's back and for movement.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FORMING SEMICONDUCTOR CUTTING/TRIMMING BLADES
A dressing board for sharpening and/or shaping blades for manufacture of semiconductor devices can include a working surface configured to sharpen and/or shape a cutting surface of a dicing or edging blade for manufacture of a semiconductor device. The working surface can be configured to contact the cutting surface of the blade when sharpening or shaping the cutting surface. The dressing board can include a support substrate configured to support the working surface with respect to a floor of an enclosure in which the dressing board is positioned. In some embodiments, the working surface includes a first portion that is not parallel to the floor.
Handheld sharpening apparatus
A portable planar abrading or honing apparatus embodying components including modified elongated planar support block with flared ends each with holding arrangements and attached to the blocks planar surface are optional material support bases that assist various tensioned flexible abrasive material, described as abrasive tapes that facilitate manual grinding or honing and sharpening of edges upon the abrasive surface.
