A fiber handling tool has a cover to engage optical fibers placed in the fiber handling tool. There may be more than one cover and the covers have at least two elastic elements. There are at least two elastic elements that cooperate to hold the optical fibers and/or cable in place and another elastic element may be used with a door lock that is rotatably attached to the cover. There are also structures for managing the routing of the optical fibers within the tool.

A clipless bicycle pedal auxiliary tool includes two cramp bodies, each cramp body includes a pivot part, a holding section and a clamping section, the two pivot parts are pivoted with each other, and the holding sections and the clamping sections are disposed on two sides of the pivot parts, respectively. Each clamping section includes a clamping pin and a pushing pin protruded thereon. The two holding sections can be operated to pivotally swing the two clamping section relative to each other, and make the two clamping pins and the two pushing pins move close to and away from each other, so that the two clamping pins can clamp the two inner sides of the clamping fastener of the clipless bicycle pedal, and the two pushing pins push the two outer sides of the clamping fastener to form a force pivot.

Method and apparatus for sharpening a cutting edge of a cutting tool, such as a kitchen knife. A fixture secures opposing sides of a blade of the cutting tool and includes a main body and hinged first and second clamping jaws each having a clamping end adapted to compressingly engage a respective side of the blade. A guide coupled to the main body has converging support surfaces to contactingly engage a back edge (spine) of the blade opposite the cutting edge to center the blade along a central plane of the fixture. A retraction mechanism establishes a clamping force upon each of the respective sides of the blade via the clamping jaws. Further embodiments include a base assembly adapted to receive the fixture, and a swing arm style abrasive assembly to carry out a sharpening operation upon the cutting edge.

The first handle is provided with a first pin, and the second handle is provided with a second pin. The positioning set is pivoted on a middle section of the first and second handles with the first and second pins. The positioning set is approximately horizontal, and travel distance of the shaft is greatly reduced, which not only reduces the structural cost, but also effectively improves the smoothness of the shaft movement.
