CONSTRUCTIBLE UTENSILS WITH LOCKING TAB
Utensil elements and methods for their fabrication. In one embodiment, a planar utensil element is fabricated of a foldable material, and has a length greater than a width. The planar utensil element comprises first and second scores, said scores being generally symmetrical about a midline running along the length of the planar utensil element, and indicative of where the planar element is to be folded in order to become a usable utensil. Folding the planar utensil element about the first and second scores produces a handle and a bowl. The handle is formed by two generally symmetrical halves joined together by interconnecting tabs in a “tab-lock” arrangement.
Portable food handling devices
A food handling device includes a holder having an interior chamber extending along a longitudinal axis, and an extension housing detachably mounted on the holder and having an interior compartment for receiving and for holding the foodstuff. A pusher is mounted in the chamber for axial movement. An actuator axially moves the pusher through the chamber and through the compartment into contact with the foodstuff, and incrementally feeds a continuously variable quantity of the foodstuff along the longitudinal axis through the opening directly into a user's mouth to enable the foodstuff to be eaten bite-by-bite in a sanitary manner without using eating accessories, such as plates and/or utensils, and without the user's hands directly touching and contaminating the foodstuff, thereby preventing the spread of disease.
Measuring scoop
A measuring scoop and its method for fabrication. In one embodiment, a planar element is fabricated of a foldable material. The planar element is generally circular, and is scored with three generally linear scores each having a first end substantially at the center of the element and a second end proximate an outer edge of the element. Folding the element about the scores produces a generally conically shaped object that can be used as a measuring scoop for food and other things. A handle protrudes into the interior of the scoop. In some embodiments, the two portions comprising the handle are held together securely by a tab in one portion that locks into a slit in the other portion.
3D disposable serving utensils created by folding and bending 2D bendable materials and boxes incorporating disposable serving utensils
Disposable three dimensional serving utensils that can be incorporated into a pizza box, a cake box or other container, via incised and scored blanks, from which disposable utensils, such as spatulas and knives, can be formed.
Disposable foldable eating utensil
The present application relates to a disposable foldable eating utensil comprising: a body; a handle extending from the distal end of the body; and a bendable part formed between the body and the handle to be thinner than the other parts so as to allow the handle to be folded and unfolded, wherein the body comprises a protrusion protruding downward from the bottom surface of the distal end thereof, the protrusion comprises an engaging ledge protruding outward from the periphery thereof, and the handle comprises an extension piece extending at a predetermined thickness from the tip end thereof and having a through-hole passing through the upper surface and the bottom surface thereof.
PACKAGE OF A FOOD PRODUCT PROVIDED WITH A SCOOPING TOOL
Package of a food product comprising a container and a sealing foil connected to the mouth edge of the container and a tool for picking the product, fixed to the surface of the sealing foil, wherein the sealing foil has a surface of thermoplastic plastic material, the tool is a flattened body of cellulosic or wood-cellulosic material, shaped like a spatula, and is fixed to said surface of the sealing foil by ultrasound welding, in the absence of an added adhesive material, along a section of a creasing line generated on the surface of the tool by the sonotrode during the welding process.
Utensil having self-storage handle
A utensil may include a utensil body and a handle comprising a first portion and a second portion, the first portion hingedly coupled to the utensil body. The first portion is movably coupled to the second portion to enable the handle to be configured into an open state and a closed state. The open state permits the utensil body to hingedly move with respect to the first portion between a first position in which the utensil body is operatively usable by a user. A second position in which the utensil body is stored within the handle, and the closed state includes the handle enclosing the utensil body.
FOLDABLE UTENSIL
A foldable utensil includes a foldable stem member and a working member. The foldable stem member includes a first end, a second end, and an elongated body extending between the first end and the second end. The elongated body includes at least a first segment and a second segment operably coupled with and foldable relative to the first segment. The working member is operably coupled with and is foldable relative to the second end of the foldable stem member. The foldable utensil is positionable in a first, unfolded configuration and a second, folded configuration.
Constructible scoop
A constructible scoop is provided as a sheet of planar flexible material having front and back surfaces and bilateral symmetry along a center line that extends from a top edge through a bottom edge. The sheet includes elongate extensions that emanate from a center body, and include left and right lateral extensions, a base extension that terminates at the bottom edge of the sheet and is oriented at ninety degrees relative to the left and right lateral extensions, an optional handle extension that terminates at the top edge of the sheet opposite the base extension. The extensions form a periphery that is shaped so that each extension may be flexed from a planar configuration to a three-dimensional configuration and fixedly engaged to form a scoop having a backwall, opposing sidewalls, a receptacle, and a spout.
