ELECTRIC COMMUTATING RATCHET TOOL
The invention is an electric commutating ratchet tool comprising: a head; a ratchet mechanism with a rotating member and a latch member; the rotating member is capable of rotating, the latch member is capable of displacing and controlling rotation direction of the rotating member; and a commutating device with a commutating member, a magnetic driving member and a magnetic actuating unit; the commutating member is capable of displacing to abut against the latch member; the magnetic actuating unit is opposite to the magnetic driving member, either the magnetic actuating unit or the magnetic driving member is disposed on the commutating member; the magnetic actuating unit is at least one electromagnet; magnetic direction is changed through each of the electromagnets, so that the magnetic driving member is magnetically driven to change a position of the latch member.
AUTO ADJUSTABLE SPANNER HAND TOOL SYSTEM, ADJUSTABLE DRIVETRAIN TOOL APPARATUS WITH AUTO ADJUSTABLE SPANNER FEATURE, AND METHODS OF USE
An auto adjustable spanner hand tool system, adjustable drivetrain tool apparatus with auto adjustable spanner feature, and methods of use are presented. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure is a hand tool device with multi-function and multi-directional capacity for use in various applications. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure is designed to provide multi-directional functionality and automation in a rotational spanner hand tool. However, the present disclosure is not limited to these novel and inventive improvements, and it may further be adapted for a variety of purposes.
MULTI-PIECE HOUSING FOR INDEXABLE MOTORIZED RATCHET TOOLS
A tool housing for a tool, such as a motorized ratcheting-type tool. The tool housing includes a ratchet housing portion, a first housing portion pivotably coupled to the ratchet housing portion, a second housing portion having first and second opposing ends, and a motor housing portion coupled to the second end of the second housing portion. The first end of the second housing portion is threadably coupled to the first housing portion.
TOOL ILLUMINATION SOURCE
An illumination source disposed in a housing of a tool without the need for fasteners or snaps. The illumination source includes a number illumination elements, such as LEDs, disposed on a circuit board. A lens and the housing cooperatively direct light emitted by the illumination elements away from a user's eyes during use of the tool.
TOOL AND MOTOR ANTI-ROTATION
The present invention relates to a motorized hand tool having a motor with a motor front casing adapted to resist rotation of the motor with respect to a housing of the tool, without use of extra fasteners or machining operations. The motor front casing includes first and second flanges and first and second tabs that protrude radially outwardly and that are disposed proximal to respective ends of the flanges. When the motor is installed, the tabs abut a ratchet head housing and are sandwiched between the ratchet head housing and a rib if a tool housing to resist motor rotation and ensure all forces are distributed across a whole face of the rib to minimize deformation of the rib and/or tool housing.
POWERED RATCHET WRENCH
A power tool includes a main housing having a pair of clamshells, each of which has a mating face and a blind bore within the mating face. The power tool further includes a motor having a front bearing retainer, a plurality of fasteners configured to secure the front bearing retainer within the main housing, and a pin received within the blind bores of the respective clamshells, such that each of the clamshells is inhibited from moving with respect to the other clamshell. The power tool further includes an output assembly having an anvil with an output member configured to engage a socket and a pawl that is moveable between a first position in which the pawl is operatively coupled to drive the anvil in a first direction and a second position in which the pawl is operatively coupled to drive the anvil in a second direction.
Power tool with electrically controlled commutating assembly
The invention relates to a power tool with an electrically controlled commutating assembly comprising: an electrically controlled commutating assembly and a control unit; the electrically controlled commutating assembly has an electromagnetic unit; the electromagnetic unit is capable of performing a change in displacement due to electromagnetic action; the control unit has a control member, the control member is capable of changing a working direction of a power tool, and displacement of the electromagnetic unit is capable of actuating the control member of the control unit to make the power tool switch the working direction.
TOOL HOUSING AND MOTOR EXHAUST MANAGEMENT
A motorized hand tool such as a cordless ratchet wrench that has a motor, and a housing that encloses or houses the motor. The motor includes one or more exhaust ports that expel exhaust air out of the motor. The housing includes one or more exhaust ports and inwardly projecting protrusions or deflectors that extend around the exhaust ports. The inwardly projecting protrusions/deflectors extend in a direction towards the motor exhaust ports, and/or are at least partially disposed in the motor exhaust ports to direct exhaust air out of the housing and prevent exhaust air from recirculating near the motor and electronic components of the tool.
PCB WITH INTEGRATED SWITCHES
A printed circuit board (PCB) for motor and display control of a tool. The PCB is disposed within a housing portion of the tool substantially perpendicular to a display assembly of the tool. The PCB includes integrated switches adapted to engage corresponding buttons of the display assembly. The housing portion and display assembly including features to restrict movement of the PCB relative to the housing portion.
POWERED RATCHET WRENCH
A powered ratchet wrench, including a handle body to facilitate gripping thereof, a wrench head attachment removably connected within at least a portion of the handle body, the wrench head attachment including a head body, and a wrench aperture disposed on and within at least a portion of the head body to removably connect to at least one of a nut and a bolt, and a control unit disposed on at least a portion of the handle body to move the wrench aperture in a first rotational direction or a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction.
