The guide base can include a handle including a grasping surface configured so a user can grasp and manipulate the guide, and can define a guide recess disposed below the elongated barrel. A clip can include a clip base, a clip wall extending upward from the clip base, and a clip arm that extends from the clip wall over the clip base. The clip base can be disposed in the guide recess, and can define a fastener hole, the fastener hole aligned with the elongated barrel. The handle can be graspable by a user to impair rotation of the clip as the clip is installed relative to a workpiece. Related methods of use are provided.

Dual Positionable Fastener Installation Tool Adaptor

A dual positionable adaptor for a fastener driver assembly employs a tandem guide assembly mounted to a guide head which has an entry reference surface defining an opening for a fastener to provide a proper location and entry angle for the fastener. A pair of wings each defines a pair of reference engagement edges which engage either an upper horizontal member or a lower horizontal member. The wings, together with the entry reference surface, define a proper entry location and angle for connecting a vertical stud to either an upper plate or a lower plate. The selected adaptor position is achieved by securing the adaptor in one of two angular positions relative to the tube axis of the fastener driver assembly. The wings are also affixed with squirrel claws to lock the adaptor in place for installing the fastener. The adaptor also includes flush indicators to indicate that the proper flush position of the reference surface against the vertical member is achieved. The wings are independently pivotal to accommodate situations wherein the tandem wing configuration cannot be employed. The fastener is retained within the adaptor fastener channel via a magnet assembly.

Fastener alignment tools and methods of utilizing the same are disclosed herein. The fastener alignment tools are configured to operatively engage a plurality of fasteners with a corresponding plurality of fastening locations and include a gripping region and an alignment tool body. The alignment tool body defines a plurality of fastener-receiving regions. Each fastener-receiving region includes a fastener receptacle, which is configured to receive a corresponding fastener in a received orientation relative to the alignment tool body, and a fastener retention structure, which is configured to retain the corresponding fastener within the fastener-receiving region at a retained orientation relative to the alignment tool body. The methods include positioning each fastener of the plurality of fasteners within a corresponding fastener-receiving region, retaining each fastener within the corresponding fastener-receiving region, orienting the fastener alignment tool relative to the plurality of fastening locations, and simultaneously releasing each fastener.

An installation tool and related methods are provided. The tool can pull a strip of collated fasteners along a collated fastener path to a guide, where individual fasteners are sequentially separated from the strip and advanced into a workpiece. The tool can include a tension feeder located downstream of the guide. The tension feeder is configured to apply tension to the strip between the guide and a leading end of the strip. The tool can include a driveshaft configured to attach to a conventional drive tool chuck or a drive tool having hexagonal type drive components. The guide can be one piece and replaceable, with a guide body and a guide head. A strip slot can be defined in the same to align a fastener head with a backstop and facilitate entry of a fastener shank in a feed slot. Related methods of use are provided.

A screwing device, which serves for screwing boards (2) onto underlying crossbeams (3) in such a way that the screws are screwed tilted in from the edges (5) of the boards (2). The screwing device includes a base (7) with an oblong foot (8) which in use stands on the upper side of the boards (2), two arms (9) extending tilted out from each their end of the foot (8), and two opposite screw drivers (10), which are mounted on each their arm (9) and each is arranged with means for conveying a disposable belt (34) of releasable screws (6) and for stepwise screwing in screws (6) from the belt (34). With the present invention, the components of a terrace can be screwed faster together than hitherto known, and at the same time the terrace obtains optimal strength.

Multiple Entry Angle Adaptor With Locator for Fastener Installation Tool

A fastener installation assembly has a head with a fastener opening and a connector for connecting the head to a driving tool so that a fastener can be driven through the hole. A guide assembly with a locator is pivotally mounted to the head. The locator may be removable from the guide assembly and movable so that its locator surface is movable relative to a guide surface of the guide assembly. The locator may include a locator guide that is movable relative to the locator so that a position of an end of the locator guide relative to the locator surface is adjustable. The locator guide may be removable from the locator. The guide assembly is pivotable between multiple angular positions to vary the angle at which a fastener is driven into building materials which the guide assembly and locator engage.

Fastener installation tool adaptor

A dual positionable adaptor for a fastener driver assembly employs a guide assembly mounted to a guide head which has an entry surface for a fastener. The arms each define a pair of reference engagement edges which engage either an upper horizontal member or a lower horizontal member and together with the entry surface defines a proper entry location and angle for connecting a vertical stud to either an upper plate or a lower plate. In one embodiment, the dual positionable adaptor may employ a pair of pivoting arms which defines one of two pivot positions for a guide assembly. Arms of the guide assembly each have a first reference engagement edge and a second reference engagement edge. In a first guide position, the adaptor provides an optimal position and entry angle for connecting a top plate to a lateral blocking. In a second position, the adaptor provides an optimal position and entry angle for driving a fastener through a lower plate into a lateral blocking.
