TORQUE WRENCH AND REACTION ARM ASSEMBLY
20200122305 · 2020-04-23 ·

A torque wrench assembly comprises a torque wrench and a reaction arm and locking means for locking together the torque wrench and the reaction arm. The locking means comprises a connection member located on the torque wrench; an opening on the reaction arm for receipt of the connection member of the torque wrench; a locking member slidably mounted in a channel on the reaction arm, the locking member including an aperture sized to allow the connection member to pass therethrough; and biasing means arranged to bias the locking member into a position wherein the aperture is partially aligned with the opening. The connection member has an insertion end for insertion into the opening of the reaction arm, and immediately adjacent the insertion end is a recess. The recess is shaped to receive a part of the locking member.

TOOL DEVICE AND REACTION BAR
20200114433 · 2020-04-16 ·

A tool device has a deceleration unit, a tip tool, and a reaction bar. The deceleration unit increases a torque that is input to the deceleration unit. The tip tool is rotated when receiving a motive force from the deceleration unit. The reaction bar is fixed to the deceleration unit. An external force can be made to act on the reaction bar to receive a reaction force that is generated during rotation of the tip tool.

Power tool with detachable auxiliary handle
10596693 · 2020-03-24 ·

A power tool with an auxiliary handle which is easily securable to and removable from the tool. The auxiliary handle provides additional functionality, beyond being merely a handle. The auxiliary handle is detachably engaged to the power tool for working as a side handle via a quick-connect mechanism, which locks the handle in place either automatically or with a simple movement, and which can be released by a simple movement. The handle also serves a secondary function. For example, its quick-connect mechanism can be so configured as to receive a screwdriver bit. When removed from the power tool, the handle can act as a screwdriver handle. The handle may include compartments or slots to retain a variety of screwdriver bits or other components. The handle could be a screwdriver with auto lock bit or bit holder.

SURGICAL TOOL

A surgical tool for removing a portion of an implant is provided that includes a housing, a motor contained within the housing and coupled to the housing, and an output shaft having a distal end and a proximal end opposite the distal end, wherein the proximal end is coupled to the motor and the distal end has an opening configured to rotateably engage an implant. The surgical tool further includes a counter-torque sleeve extending around the output shaft having a proximal end and a distal end opposite the proximal end, wherein the proximal end is coupled to the housing and the distal end is configured to couple to the implant relative to the counter-torque sleeve. Upon a rotational force to the implant, the forces transmitted by the output shaft and the counter-torque sleeve are balanced by the coupling of the output shaft and counter-torque sleeve through the housing.

HOPPER TRAILER OPENER

According to one or more embodiments, a hand-held, portable opener for a hopper trailer and method of opening is described. The hopper trailer opener comprises a base tool assembly coupled with an extension shaft assembly and can be adapted for use with a variety of different trailer opening mechanisms.

TORQUE REACTION TOOLS AND METHODS FOR USE

An example torque reaction tool includes a first arm having an end with a longitudinally extending cavity, and an opposite end with a first socket drive element disposed perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the cavity. The torque reaction tool further includes a second arm having an end portion slidably disposed within the cavity, and an opposite end with a second socket drive element thereon, oriented in the same direction as the first socket drive element. The torque reaction tool further includes a first fastener, disposed in a first threaded hole in the first arm that extends into the cavity, the first fastener being adjustable to engage the end portion of the second arm to restrict sliding movement of the second arm relative to the first arm.

Attachment and fastening tool

An attachment includes a planetary reducer, a reaction force receiving member, and a universal joint. The planetary reducer has a first output shaft and a second output shaft connectable to a socket. The reaction force receiving member is connected to the first output shaft and has an arm part for contact with an external contact object. The universal joint has an input-side end part connectable to a final output shaft of a fastening tool and an output-side end part connected to the planetary reducer. The reaction force receiving member is configured to rotate integrally with the first output shaft in a direction opposite to the second output shaft by a reaction force caused by rotation of the socket. The universal joint is configured to transmit the torque inputted from the final output shaft via the input-side end part, to the planetary reducer via the output-side end part.

Power tool with fan duct for printed circuit board

A cooling assembly for a power tool includes an air mover configured to be disposed within a housing assembly at a first end of a generally longitudinal enclosure proximate to a handle enclosure. The air mover is configured to direct air into the housing assembly and then generally perpendicularly to a longitudinally extending direction of the generally longitudinal enclosure. The cooling assembly also includes a duct configured to connect to the air mover and be in fluid communication with the air mover to direct air into the handle enclosure. The duct includes an inflow segment defining a first area for receiving the air from the air mover, an outflow segment defining a second area for directing the air from the air mover into the handle enclosure, and a connecting segment connecting the inflow segment to the outflow segment.
