An integrated protection component for a sealing ring and associated sealing system for a vehicle transmission component, including a plug that can be inserted inside the sealing ring and an annular element for protecting the sealing ring during insertion of a rotating shaft is provided. The annular element includes a flange-shaped end and a tubular side wall that directly comes into engaging contact with the sealing ring and receives inside it the rotating shaft. The first end being provided with a handle, the plug engaging in a removable manner with the annular element and the tubular side wall being provided with a first weakened zone formed longitudinally alongside a second, radially formed, weakened zone of the first end so as to break following a pulling force exerted manually on the handle.

A tool for installing an assurance cap on a fluid connector assembly, the fluid connector assembly including a connector body including a resilient clip and a tubular member operatively arranged to be connected in the connector body, the tool including an annular groove arranged to engage an end of the assurance cap and a proximity sensor operatively arranged to detect the position of the tool relative to the connector body.

A method of installing pre-molded seal caps onto fasteners that extend from a surface comprises sequentially delivering the pre-molded seal caps, arranged on a carrier strip, to a plunger mechanism via a feed system. The method also comprises sequentially removing the pre-molded seal caps from the carrier strip using the plunger mechanism, operating in concert with the feed system. The method further comprises individually installing the pre-molded seal caps onto selected ones of the fasteners using the plunger mechanism.

Apparatuses for controlling fluid flow are important components for delivering process fluids for semiconductor fabrication. These apparatuses for controlling fluid flow require a variety of fluid flow components which are tightly packaged within the apparatuses for controlling flow. Servicing the apparatuses requires specialized equipment and methods which enable installation of seals in close quarters in apparatuses which are installed in the field. Seal insertion tools may be used to facilitate installation of the seals to permit efficient assembly of fluid flow components into apparatus for controlling flow.

An elastic sealing ring expanding apparatus includes a base on which a plurality of posts are disposed, an assembly platform supported on the base by the posts, a plurality of rods movably mounted on the assembly platform, and a driving device mounted on the base. The driving device is configured to drive the rods to move from a center of a rectangle toward a plurality of corners of the rectangle along a plurality of straight paths, expanding an elastic sealing ring sleeved on the rods into a rectangular ring with a predetermined length-width ratio.

A bushing assembly comprises a flanged bushing including a flange portion including a flange anti-rotation feature, and a shaft portion with an outer cylindrical surface extending from the flange portion, terminating at a free end, the outer cylindrical surface including external threads disposed proximate the free end, and a retaining ring including an annular configuration defining an inner cylindrical surface defining internal threads complimentarily shaped to mate with the external threads of the outer cylindrical surface.

Device (1) for installing/removing a seal (12) for an injection group of a coffee machine, comprising a body (2) which is elongate along a longitudinal axis (XX′), a handle (3) for gripping the body (2) and two rows of lugs (4), one of which is arranged at one end and the other of which is arranged at the other end of the elongate body (2). Each lug (4) of a row, which is radial relative to the body (2), is arranged around the body (2) on a centre circle which passes through the longitudinal axis (XX′) of the body (2), and each lug (4) of a row has a face (41) which is called the internal face and which is directed towards the lugs (4) of the other row and which forms a helical ramp (5) which is inclined to allow, in the positioned state of the ramps (5) of a row of lugs (4) in bearing contact with inclined surfaces forming ramps with complementary shapes, and, in the state in which the body (2) is rotated about its longitudinal axis (XX′), axial displacement of the body (2). One of the ends (6), which is called the seal installing end, of the body (2) is provided with a rotating plate (7) for receiving a seal (12) to be installed. The opposite end of the body (2) is provided with anchoring members (9) which project from the aforementioned end (8).

A seal ring installation module comprises a seal ring pickup and transfer device adapted to pick up a seal ring and transfer the seal ring to a component. The pickup and transfer device includes a support member and an outer cylinder sleeved on the support member. The support member has an external shape or at least one external dimension corresponding to those of the component. One end of the support member protrudes from an opening at one end of the outer cylinder to pick up and support the seal ring. One of the outer cylinder or the support member is movable axially relative to the other and is adapted to, with the component axially aligned with and contacting the one end of the support member, transfer the seal ring supported on the one end of the support member from the support member to the component under a biasing force applied by an end face of one end of the outer cylinder.

An installation tool for installing a seal includes a shaft and a seal-engaging component coupled with the shaft. During an installation of the seal, the seal-engaging component is adapted to couple with the seal. The seal-engaging component includes a first surface and a second surface. The seal-engaging component also includes a first annular ring extending from the first surface and adapted to engage with the seal for coupling the seal with the seal-engaging component. The seal-engaging component further includes a second annular ring extending from the first surface. The installation tool also includes a sliding hammer adapted to slide along a length of the shaft. During the installation of the seal, the sliding hammer is adapted to apply a force to the seal-engaging component for installing the seal at a seal installation location.

A mounting tool for positioning a shaft sealing ring on a shaft against a curvature of a sealing lip of a shaft sealing ring, wherein the shaft sealing ring has an annular main body, a sealing lip and can be applied to the shaft and a spring washer for pre-tensioning the sealing lip in the direction of the shaft, wherein the sealing lip has a curvature which is outward in the direction of an opening formed by the shaft sealing ring, comprising a bottom part and a lid like top part, wherein the top part is removably fastened to the bottom part in that one end thereof is inserted partially into the bottom part, wherein another end of the top part, is substantially conical and an outside diameter of the bottom part corresponds to the maximum expansion diameter of the sealing lip of the shaft sealing ring.
