Joint press adapter
A slip-on adapter that is adapted to be coupled to existing adapters that have already been developed. The slip-on adapter couples to existing adapters by positive retention on either the outside diameter or inside diameter of the existing adapter. For example, the slip-on adapter can include an O-ring that grips the outside diameter of the existing adapter that it is slipped onto. The slip-on adapter can also be used as a “flip adapter” with different geometries at both ends for use with two different size ball joints. This allows for less expensive adapters for new size ball joints by connecting to existing adapters, rather than requiring full machining of a new adapter.
Apparatus for Assisted Buckle Release
An apparatus for assisted buckle release employing a generally C-shaped, V-shaped, or U-shaped assistive device adapted to depress a buckle’s release button, such as a button typical of a child car seat restraint harness, and thereby assist in unlocking the buckle.
Torque application apparatus
An apparatus for applying torque to a body includes a base defining an inner chamber. The apparatus includes a plurality of pins supported by base and disposed in the inner chamber, the plurality of pins moveable relative to the base between engaged positions and disengaged positions. The apparatus includes a trigger actuatable to move at least one of the plurality of pins to the disengaged position.
Expansion tool structure for steering knuckle of vehicle
An expansion tool structure for a steering knuckle of a vehicle contains: a body, a multiple-section positioning set, and a rotatable connector. The body includes a receiving orifice, a first rotation portion, a recess, a second rotation portion, a stopped face, two retainers, a holding protrusion, a notch, a hollow accommodation section, and a threaded orifice. The multiple-section positioning set includes a locating ball, a resilient element, and a threaded post. The rotatable connector includes a holder, four slots, a first rotatable coupling section, a second rotatable coupling section, a stepped edge, an extension, a C-shaped ring, and a non-circular joining portion. The rotatable connector further includes an actuation projection, and the actuation projection has two opposite elongated faces and two opposite short faces. Preferably, a width of a respective one short face is equal to or is less than a width of a respective one retainer.
REMOVAL TOOL FOR BALL JOINT
A removal tool for a ball joint contains: a first support arm, a second support arm, a first engagement post, a second engagement post, a first connector, and a second connector. The first support arm includes a rotatable fixing member and the first connector. The second support arm includes a rotatable screwing member and the second connector. The first support arm further includes a first fitting sleeve, and the second support arm includes a second fitting sleeve. The second engagement post includes a first threaded section, and the second engagement post includes a second threaded section, a spiral rotation direction of the first threaded section is opposite to a spiral rotation direction of the second threaded section.
Joint-disconnecting tool
A joint-disconnecting tool includes a clamp and a controller. The clamp includes a case, two branches, a pin and two linking elements. Each of the branches includes a lever extending in the case and a jaw extending out of the case. The pin connects the levers to the case. Each of the linking elements includes an end pivotally connected to one of the levers in the case. The controller includes two handles, a wire, a sheath and a spring. The handles are pivotally connected to each other. The wire includes an end connected to one of the handles and another end connected to another end of each of the linking elements. The sheath wraps the wire except for the ends. The sheath includes an end abutted against another one of the handles and another end abutted against the case. The spring tends to push the linking elements from the case.
Apparatus for assisted buckle release
An apparatus for assisted buckle release having an engagement portion connected to a lever arm at a midportion and a protuberance projected from a basal side of the lever arm. The midportion accommodates rotation of the lever arm within a coronal plane relative thereto as well as manual compression toward the engagement portion to move the protuberance a minimum distance sufficient to depress a release button of a buckle of a vehicular restraint with which the apparatus is engaged and actuate release of the restraints from the button.

The slip-on adapter couples to existing adapters by positive retention on either the outside diameter or inside diameter of the existing adapter. For example, the slip-on adapter can include an O-ring that grips the outside diameter of the existing adapter that it is slipped onto. Tightening tool
A rod tightening tool includes an elongated member, a clamping assembly and a wrench attachment end. The elongated member has a semi-hollow interior and defines an opening at one end thereof providing access to the semi-hollow interior. The elongated member has a slot formed along a portion thereof that extends to the semi-hollow interior. The clamping assembly has a first member and a second member. The first member is installed for sliding movement along an exterior surface of the elongated member. The second member is installed to the first member such that the first and second members clamp to the elongated member. The wrench attachment end is fixedly attached to the elongated member.
Disc brake piston retraction tool
A disc brake piston retraction tool includes a reversible ratchet wrench, a first pressure plate assembly, and a second pressure assembly. In the process of retracting a piston, a first engaging notch of a first L-shaped elastic plate of a first buckle member and a second engaging notch of a second L-shaped elastic plate of a second buckle member are pressed against a first force output shaft and a second force output shaft to provide an anti-rotation effect. Thus, when an operating handle of the reversible ratchet wrench is pulled back, it will not link a ratchet wheel, so as to carry out an effective operation of retracting the piston.
